Study On Social Relationship Of Douyin Short Video Users

With the in-depth development of short video industry,video economy has become a reality in Chinese society,and also profoundly changes the way of interpersonal communication.Social interaction with short video has unique characteristics.This study sorted out the concept and morphological characteristics of short video social network,and analyzed the reasons for the emergence and in-depth development of short video social network in China.As a representative of short video platforms,Douyin is a pioneer in short video social exploration,constantly updating and launching fresh social functions.Currently,based on various social functions,Douyin has formed four social modes:one is "functional" social mode,the other is "circle" social mode,the third is "equality" social mode,and the fourth is focused social mode.These four basic social modes do not exist independently,but overlap with each other,which together constitute the ecological picture of douyin platform.At present,the short video social networking of Douyin platform develops acquaintances and strangers simultaneously,which lays the foundation for the coexistence of strong and weak relationships.Therefore,this study uses the theory of strong and weak relationship and the theory of latent relationship to explore the paths and reasons for the generation,development and transformation of interpersonal relationships on Douyin platform,and tries to find ways to precipate the internal relationship chain of the platform,so as to better provide theoretical support for the development of short video social networking.With the rapid development of short video social networking,there are also some difficulties and problems.For example,the homogeneity of short video content within the current platform leads to insufficient attraction to users.The transformation and maintenance effect of social relationship chain is not ideal;When users enjoy the pleasure brought by video socializing,they will inevitably fall into group loneliness and subjectivity loss.Therefore,in order to better promote the development of short video social networking,all short video platforms need to constantly explore new social development modes,improve and optimize the existing social functions and social networking modes.Firstly,short video social networking takes content as the connection point,so improving content quality is the foundation.Secondly,the improvement of technology also escorts the smooth development of short video social networking.The platform should constantly improve and innovate the social functions of the platform,and build social functions based on users’ social needs,so as to better connect users.Finally,users should also be called upon and guided to improve technical rationality and make better use of short video social functions.
