| With the rapid progress of information technology,the availability and convenience of digital resources are more prominent compared with traditional paper resources,and the digital resources of humanities and social sciences in university libraries have become more and more abundant.However,the utilization rate of humanities and social science digital resources in the library by university students is still low,the level of use of some humanities and social science digital resources is not high,and the needs of university students for humnities and social science digital resources in the library have not been met.In order to promote students’ full utilization of the humanities and social sciences digital resources in Yangzhou University Library and further improve the humanities and social sciences digital resources in Yangzhou University Library so as to form a virtuous cycle,it is crucial to study the utilization of the humanities and social sciences digital resources in Yangzhou University Library.This paper first summarizes the digital resources of humanities and social sciences in the library of Yangzhou University,and finds that its digital resources are relatively rich;Secondly,by using the method of questionnaire and interview,this paper makes an in-depth investigation on the use of digital resources of humanities and social sciences in the library by students of Yangzhou University.On this basis,it combs and analyzes some problems that students have in the use of digital resources:first,students’ demand for digital resources needs to be improved,second,students’learning enthusiasm is low,and third,students’ access and feedback channels are blocked,Fourthly,it is inconvenient for students to use retrieval systems,and fifthly,there are problems with the promotion methods of digital resources.In view of the above problems,some improvement measures are proposed:firstly,the construction of digital resources of humanities and social sciences in the library should be improved and the quality of librarians should be enhanced;secondly,the self-learning ability of students should be improved,so that students pay attention to digital resources of humanities and social sciences and improve their learning initiative;thirdly,the platform of the library system should be improved,the platform should be updated and maintained on a daily basis,and the content of the library homepage should be improved;fourthly,search courses or training should be offered to strengthen training on the use of databases;fifthly,training on the use of databases should be provided.Fifth,the publicity of the library’s humanities and social sciences digital resources should be strengthened,and the awareness of publicity should be raised and the channels of publicity broadened. |
