| Since the founding of our country,China has been committed to the eradication of poverty.From the convening of the 18th National Congress in 2012,which placed poverty in a prominent position in the national development strategy,to the end of 2020,after eight years of hard work,China has officially completed the glorious task of removing all the poor people under the current standard from poverty and all the poor counties from the list.In the process of poverty eradication,the mainstream media,represented by CCTV News,actively performs the important role of policy communication,public opinion supervision and typical propaganda,and plays an important role in promoting the process of poverty eradication.Taking the poverty alleviation reports on the official CCTV News microblog from November 2012 to February 2021 as the research sample,this study uses qualitative research and quantitative analysis,combining Zang Guoren’s three-level framework and Van Dijk’s news icon structure theory,to examine the framework presentation of @CCTV News’ poverty alleviation reports.Firstly,from the perspective of the macro theme of anti-poverty news,the topics covered by @CCTV News are concentrated in the political and economic fields,and the thematic framework is divided into five major parts:factual framework,anti-poverty participation framework,anti-poverty achievement framework,responsibility attribution framework and international poverty alleviation framework.In terms of reporting tendency,@CCTV News shows a tendency for positive reports to dominate,with less neutral and negative reports.Secondly,through the narrative analysis of poverty alleviation news at the meso level,it can be found that @ CCTV News mainly reports from the government’s perspective,with a relatively low proportion of poverty alleviation reports from the perspective of poor people.In terms of reporting structure,it mainly presents three structural styles:linear narrative structure,radial narrative structure and convergent narrative structure.Finally,a micro-discourse analysis of poverty alleviation news,combined with word frequency,reveals that @ CCTV News uses various rhetorical and visual symbols to reach out to its audience,and that all people are actively involved in the poverty alleviation campaign and have achieved remarkable results in poverty alleviation.Of course,in the process of reporting on poverty alleviation,@CCTVNews still has the problem of focusing on official "help",not showing enough of the poor groups,neglecting public interaction and participation,and not monitoring enough.In this regard,this article argues that@CCTV News needs to show the initiative and spirit of initiative of the poor,strengthen the supervision of public opinion,and pay attention to the operation of microblog accounts to mobilise public participation and interaction. |
