In today’s society,social media platforms have become an essential life tool for every college student.The personalized recommendation algorithm of the social platform can play a good role in information filtering,so that users can effectively save the cost of information acquisition in the era of information explosion,and at the same time,enhance the user’s dependence on the social platform and improve user viscosity.But this information filtering also promotes the generation of information cocoons.As a result,users are exposed to homogeneous information with the same point of view as themselves for a long time,and then the phenomenon of information islands occurs.As the most active user group on social platforms,college student users are more likely to be affected by the information cocoon environment and cannot receive more diversified information,resulting in resistance and even extreme behavior in the face of attitudes contrary to their own views.This paper analyzes and studies the influencing factors of information adoption behavior in the information cocoon room environment by taking college student users as the research object,so as to put forward effective suggestions for improving the information cocoon environment.Firstly,this paper uses the literature research method to systematically analyze the seven variables based on UTAUT model,IAM model and TRA model on the perceived usefulness,information quality,information source credibility,subjective attitude,subjective conjecture,social impact and performance expectation,and establishes a theoretical model based on the information cocoon environment,and then establishes a hypothesis and constructs a hypothesis model by analyzing the relationship between each variable and information adoption behavior.Secondly,empirical analysis is carried out in the form of a questionnaire to determine whether the hypothesis is true,and model revision and summary are carried out.Finally,according to the research results,the corresponding "cocoon breaking strategy" is proposed.This study expands the research content of the field of information cocoon room and information adoption behavior,and provides scholars in the information field with research ideas on the interaction between information cocoon room and information adoption behavior.At the same time,this paper puts forward effective countermeasures to improve the current information cocoon environment,which has certain practical significance.
