Research On The Construction Practice Of Foreign War-related Digital Humanities Project

With the continuous emergence of digital technologies,the concept of digital humanities is constantly taking root.As an emerging discipline,due to its interdisciplinary and cross-field characteristics,it has brought new perspectives and methods to traditional humanities research and attracted the attention of many scholars at home and abroad,among which digital humanities projects as the basic form of digital humanities research have also continued to flourish.War historical resources have irreplaceable social memory value.Through the digital humanities research on war historical resources,it can not only better develop and utilize the resources from a new perspective,but also solve the problems of lack of historical knowledge and cognitive bias of some domestic people to a certain extent.In addition,it can inherit the outstanding traditional Chinese culture and promote the spirit of patriotism.However,in general,China does not have rich practical experience in the construction of relevant projects,so it is necessary to learn from more complete digital humanities projects in foreign countries,so as to improve its own project construction level and realize better utilization of resources.This article focuses on "digital humanities" as the main research subject,through literature reading and the use of Cite Space software,to sort out the domestic and foreign digital humanities research,and analyze the hot topics and future development trends of digital humanities research.Then,taking the "war digital humanities project" as the starting point of research,we conducted a project survey on the digital humanities center in Center Net.According to the research needs,five dimensions are selected to analyze the current situation of foreign project construction,including project supporting institutions,project basic environment,project functional design,project characteristic technology,and project construction results.The characteristics and construction process of the project are summarized.Based on the existing construction situation of war related digital humanities projects in China,six suggestions are proposed:(1)Promote collaborative cooperation among multiple organizations;(2)Strengthen the construction of basic environment;(3)Improve the basic functions of the platform;(4)Building a network of war projects;(5)Creating projects with Chinese characteristics through diversified technologies;(6)Diversify achievements and applications.
