Meta-analysis Of Factors Affecting Readers' Satisfaction In Public Libraries In My Countr

At present,improving the level of civilization of the whole society and prosperous development of cultural undertakings and cultural industries are strategic deployments made by the development of national undertakings,and the study of the factors influencing the satisfaction of readers of public libraries can promote the development of cultural industries in response to the strategic deployment of China.Considering the former research,on the one hand,more and more scholars have paid attention to this area of public libraries and proposed many models of public library patron satisfaction,providing a rich theoretical basis for this study;on the other hand,certain influencing factors present inconsistent or even contradictory conclusions in different studies.This paper utilises meta-analysis,a reanalysis of the results of the analysis,as a method of consolidating the results of a large number of independent studies,thereby reducing the error of each study due to differences in research methods,differences in sample selection,and sample size,in order to draw general conclusions.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct a meta-analysis of various independent studies on the factors influencing reader satisfaction in public libraries in China,with a view to drawing general conclusions on the influencing factors,thereby enriching the research content in the field of reader satisfaction research and providing suggestions for managers to improve reader satisfaction in order to better serve libraries.Through a review of the relevant literature,it was determined that the LibQUAL^+TMmodel was used for reader satisfaction in this study,namely:collection resources,environmental facilities,librarians,and social responsibility.Following this,a meta-analysis approach was used to test the hypotheses.Firstly,literature was collected from several databases in China and screened regarding to the literature screening and exclusion criteria,and a total of 33 empirical studies were obtained.The different relationships between the influencing factors and satisfaction were calculated by heterogeneity test,meta-analysis,publication bias test and moderating effect;the different effects of each influencing factor on reader satisfaction in different geographical contexts were explored,and the results found that:（1）The relationship between each influencing factor and reader satisfaction was significantly positively correlated.（2）The correlation between the two influencing factors was positively correlated.（3）In different geographical contexts,the relationship between reader satisfaction and the influencing factors is different.
