| In recent years,as the function of museums as public cultural service institutions has been enhanced, the visitor experience has become an important factor in evaluating whether the social goals of museum services are achieved or not. Therefore, this paper uses master’s students in archaeology and cultural relics and museums from the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Shandong University as research subjects, and the Shandong University Museum(Qingdao)as a research site.A case study analysis of the WenyuQilu Archaeological Achievement Exhibition was conducted using qualitative and quantitative research to examine the experiences of visitors with professional knowledge backgrounds. The study uses Eilean Hooper-Greenhill’s Generic Learning Outcomes Theory(GLOs)as a framework, designs an open-ended questionnaire, and analyzes the data using a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches, which emphasizes both individual expressions and identifies common characteristics, and facilitates the provision of multiple perspectives to think about and conduct a causal comprehensive analysis. The study analyzes the personal, physical, and social-cultural contexts that influence the museum experience for professional visitors,in conjunction with John H.Falk and Lynn D.Dierking’s the Contextual Model of LearningThis paper verifies through practical case studies that visitor experience is influenced by personal knowledge background, museum physical context and socio-cultural interaction, and that there are interactions among the three factors affecting visitor experience, which together affect the experience of visitor in museums. On this basis, the author attempts to combine her own study of museum theory and museum practice experience from the perspectives of personal context, physical context,social-cultural context and other factors influencing visitor experience, and accordingly proposes initiatives conducive to visitor experience enhancement, with a view to providing some reference for improving visitor experience at Shandong University Museum(Qingdao),and also for the development of other museums. Finally,on the basis of understanding the museum experience of professional visitors, the relationship between professional visitors and museums is prospected, and a good interactive relationship between professional visitors and museums is expected to be formed with two-way giving. This paper also has problems such as limited scope of research subjects and insufficient collection of research influencing factors to be improved. |
