| With the rapid growth of China’s national economy and the continuous development of technology,the logistics industry has made leapfrog progress,making its position in the national economy increasingly prominent.Nowadays,the logistics industry has become one of the main indicators determining a country’s modernization level and national strength.As a key hub,the distribution center plays a crucial role at the end of the entire logistics process.It not only provides warehousing functions for goods,but also collects,analyzes,and processes order data from end customers through circulation logistics equipment and information system platforms,and provides efficient delivery services for customers.It is also a key facility for logistics distribution business in modern logistics processes,providing strong guarantees for fast and accurate logistics distribution work.Logistics simulation technology can improve the workflow of logistics distribution,reduce labor and warehousing costs,and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises,which has attracted more and more attention from e-commerce enterprises.This paper takes the distribution center warehouse 3 of J E-commerce Company as the research object.As an e-commerce enterprise,its distribution center warehouse 3 mainly receives orders for bedding,daily necessities,adult products,health products,and contact lenses from Shandong Province and nearby cities.The goods in these orders are mainly divided into two categories: household necessities and contact lenses.Firstly,conduct on-site inspections to analyze the actual situation and identify issues that hinder work efficiency.Then,using Flexsim simulation software,a simulation model was established to simulate the actual operation process of warehouse 3 in J e-commerce company’s distribution center,and the model parameters were improved using actual research data.After running the simulation model,the data output of the model is integrated and analyzed through the data function of the software,including the busy rate of forklifts in the distribution center,the busy rate of employees,and the backlog rate of goods in various links.Identify the problems that affect the efficiency of the distribution center’s operations,compare them with the actual situation,and observe whether the model is realistic,authentic,and effective.Through carefully designed optimization methods,including adjusting the number of personnel and equipment in the distribution center,changing the distribution mode of work,and adjusting the storage location of goods,the operation process in the distribution center is made more standardized and orderly.Finally,use simulation software to apply the optimization scheme to the original model and output the corresponding model data.By simulating the optimization plan,it is possible to better balance and improve the operational efficiency of the distribution center,the work pressure of equipment personnel,and workload allocation.Research has shown that optimizing the workflow of distribution centers has a very significant effect on improving the work quality and efficiency of distribution centers,thereby helping enterprises achieve more efficient operations while also reducing operating costs.The use of logistics simulation software is a very effective solution,which can help better understand and respond to practical problems in the logistics process.Not only can it provide reference for research enterprises,but it can also provide reference for distribution centers in related industries. |
