In contemporary era of continuous Internet technology development,webcasting has swiftly arisen and has become an essential means for people’s daily leisure and amusement in order to adapt to people’s fragmented reading habits and reading demands.Live broadcasts that assist farmers in selling agricultural and ancillary goods have become an essential element of the live broadcast business due to its social,public welfare,and other features.Since the pandemic in 2020,domestic agriculture has been hampered,and a huge number of agricultural goods have been rendered unsellable,promoting to some extent the successful combination of live broadcasting and agricultural support.The Live Broadcast of Agricultural Assistance has emerged as the primary platform for boosting agricultural product sales and assisting farmers out of their predicament.The mainstream media and live broadcasts of agricultural assistance began to progressively reach the public’s range of vision.Driven by a national appeal,policy support,and the changing times,major mainstream media have joined the ranks of live broadcasts of agricultural assistance,forging a new development model of new media integration.The major study object in this paper is the mainstream media’s live broadcast of assisting farmers,and the interactive ritual chain serves as the theoretical foundation for exploring the new mode of the mainstream media’s live broadcast of farmers helping farmers.In the beginning,the feasibility and importance of investigating mainstream media’s live broadcast of agricultural support are discussed,starting with the technological development background and policy background of mainstream media’s live broadcast of agricultural assistance.Second,this paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the interactive ritual chain in the mainstream media agricultural live broadcast by adopting a literature review,questionnaire survey,case analysis,and other methods,and elaborates on the construction process and characteristics of the interactive ritual chain in the mainstream media agricultural assistance live broadcast.Among these,emotional resonance is crucial in the formation of the interactive ritual chain.The audience’s attention to live broadcasting agricultural assistance under the influence of the epidemic is the major source of emotional resonance and seems to be the public welfare worth of live broadcasting to help farmers in addition to their commercial value.An effective interactive ritual chain is produced in a closed location such as the live broadcast room through the combining and presentation of the two,and certain emotional energy is accumulated.Finally,the paper examines how to enhance and sustain interactive ceremonies in the mainstream media’s live broadcast of agricultural assistance,so that agricultural growth can be promoted in the context of the pandemic through the live broadcast of agricultural support.This paper aims to provide a new way of thinking for the research of the interactive ritual chain theory in the field of journalism by analyzing the interactive rituals and emotional energy generated during the live broadcast process,as well as some ideas for the future development of mainstream media agricultural live broadcasts.
