With the advent of globalization,market competition has become increasingly fierce,and the competition between enterprises is no longer limited to a single industry,but involves multiple industries,countries,and regions.In this context,single-industry enterprises find it difficult to gain sufficient competitive advantage in the market,and the drawbacks of traditional single-business-models have become more apparent.As a result,perfecting the business model has become a new direction for the development of enterprises in the new era.In this context,the business model of the business ecosystem can unite the internal and external stakeholders of the enterprise,realize the collaborative development and the value creation of the enterprise,and become a new business model in the further development of the enterprise.Xiaomi Group is one of the Internet enterprises with the earliest construction and perfect development of business ecosystem in China.Therefore,this paper takes Xiaomi Group as an example to analyze the synergistic effect and value creation of its business ecosystem,in order to clarify the realization way of synergistic effect and value creation of Xiaomi Group’s business ecosystem.It provides theoretical and practical support for other Internet enterprises in the construction and development of business ecosystem.Based on the theory of resource dependence,stakeholder theory,business ecosystem theory and other relevant theories,this paper firstly analyzes the construction process,product composition and ecosystem structure of the business ecosystem of Xiaomi Group,and clarifies the current situation of the business ecosystem of Xiaomi Group.Qualitative measurement method is adopted to analyze the synergy effect of Xiaomi Group’s business ecosystem from the perspectives of sales synergy,operation synergy,investment synergy and management synergy.Financial index analysis method and non-financial index analysis method are used to analyze the value creation of Xiaomi Group’s business ecosystem.The results show that the synergistic effect of Xiaomi Group’s business ecosystem has been effectively brought into play under Xiaomi Group’s incubation of Huami Technology and strategic cooperation with the United States.The synergistic effect of sales,operation and investment has been realized in the process of taking part in Xunlei,while the antagonistic effect has been generated in the aspect of management due to the difference in management philosophy.Through the operation of the business ecosystem,Xiaomi Group makes use of Internet value-added services and other businesses to make up for the low profit rate of its core business,and improves its profitability.The diversified development under the business ecosystem can effectively promote the development efficiency and capital utilization efficiency of enterprises.At the same time,through the operation of the business ecosystem,the brand value and market share of the enterprise are effectively enhanced,and the customer value of the enterprise is further increased,bringing value creation for the enterprise.At the end of the paper,the research of this paper is summarized and summarized.To build a successful business ecosystem,Internet enterprises should actively update their business models,develop community economy to achieve synergy,and strengthen the cooperative relationship among enterprises in the business ecosystem.I hope that the research in this paper can provide some inspiration for Internet enterprises to build business ecosystems.
