Research On The Framework Of “Rural Revitalization” Report Of Farmers’ Daily

Since the strategy of rural revitalization was put forward at the 19 th CPC National Congress,we have consistently made addressing issues related to agriculture,rural areas and farmers a priority in our overall work.This not only provided strong support for the decoding of social problems in our country under new circumstances,but also provided strong guarantees for the completion of the overall goals of the“Two centenaries” struggle,to successfully realize the beautiful Chinese Dream of the Chinese nation.However,how to do a good job in the relevant reports of “rural revitalization” and jointly boost the development of “rural revitalization” strategy is a major task facing China’s news media at present.Farmers’ Daily is the first comprehensive newspaper with the theme of rural economic development in Chinese history.It has become the main media means for the Party and the government to guide the development of agriculture and rural areas in our country,giving full play to the advantages of the Party’s media,actively carrying out news reports,undertaking the responsibility of public opinion guidance,propagating,witnessing,recording and promoting the development of agriculture,rural areas and farmers in our country.Given its media role in reporting on “agriculture,rural areas and farmers”,Farmers’ Daily is the main base for reporting on the rural revitalization strategy.In this paper,a total of 2018 reports on rural revitalization in the five-year period from October 18,2017 to October 18,2020 were selected as the research objects,and content analysis method and text analysis method were used to complete the quantitative identification of the framework from six aspects: reporting time and quantity distribution,reporting source,reporting tendency,reporting region,reporting object,reporting Angle and issue statistics;based on the definition of Gamson’s frame as the theoretical basis,based on the reporting perspective and issue statistics,based on the actual situation of reporting and combined with the “five revitalizations” of rural revitalization,this paper summarizes the six types of frame constructed by the front page of Farmers’ Daily in rural revitalization reporting;compared with the “No.1 Central Document” issued during the five-year period,this paper discusses the characteristics of the reporting framework constructed by it from the perspective of time vertical and horizontal,and summarizes the invariability and change of the framework.Through the above analysis,in terms of quantitative frame identification,the time and quantity distribution of the front page of Farmers’ Daily show a phased characteristic,but there is a steady rising development trend.More than 80% of the sources of reports are collected by the newspaper,and more than 60% of the total number of reports are positive reports.In terms of reporting objects,“industry” is emphasized rather than “people”,and 21 reporting angles and issues are obtained by classified statistics;based on the summarized perspectives and issues of the report,six frames are classified and summarized: “accelerating the modernization of agricultural industry” frame,“building a beautiful countryside” frame,“prospering rural culture”frame,“improving rural governance system” frame,“ensuring and improving rural people’s livelihood” frame and “institutional supply” frame;in comparison with the“No.1 Document of the Central Government” issued in the five years,the above six frames are summarized and analyzed from the perspective of time vertical and horizontal,and the overall reporting frame in the five years is consolidated to publicize the “framework of accelerating agricultural industrialization and modernization”,the framework of “improving rural governance system” is carried out throughout the reporting,and the issue of “money,land and people” is firmly grasped.In the reporting frame of each period,In 2018,the framework of “ensuring and improving rural people’s livelihood” will be strengthened and highlighted,in 2019,the framework of “institutional supply” will be deployed,in 2020,the framework of“building a beautiful countryside” will be significantly downplayed,in 2021,the framework of “thriving rural culture” will be accelerated,and in 2022,the framework of “thriving rural culture” will be strengthened again.The conclusion from this research shows that it is concluded that Farmers’ Daily has completed the reporting task of “rural revitalization” well,always adhering to the principle of party spirit and basing on the core;combine point and surface in reporting area,have the overall situation consciousness;we will safeguard the interests of the people and do a good job in oversight by public opinion.However,in the development and construction of related reports in the future,it is necessary to strengthen “social security” and other issues related to the practical interests of the people;coverage,especially of policy meetings,should be down-to-earth and easy to understand;we should pay more attention to the needs of farmers,take farmers as the main body,and give full play to their ability to be proactive and creative.
