| Culture is the spiritual bond of the Chinese people,and a strong support for people to hold firm to their ideals and beliefs and tell Chinese stories well.Cultural TV programs bear the historical responsibility of inheriting culture.At present,the market environment is dominated by economic interests;pan-entertainment prevails;and the international situation is complex and changeable.In this context,how to deeply cultivate national cultural resources and explore the new way of contemporary dissemination of traditional culture is an important issue for contemporary artists to think about.With the novel presentation forms of "drama + film and television +culture" and "time and space travel","China in the Classics" links the "pearls" in classical books into a cultural chain and constructs a grand ceremony about classical books and culture.It is an excellent model of cultural TV programs combining the characteristics of The Times and the needs of the audience to innovate the way of cultural communication.This paper mainly adopts the methods of case study and text analysis to explore how “China in the Classics” presents the program under the theoretical framework of ritual,making the obscure classics genial and becoming a popular literary program for the audience.It is hoped that the exploration of the ritual communication of “China in the Classics” will provide some help and reference for the production and cultural inheritance of subsequent cultural TV programs.The paper is divided into seven parts:The introduction part elaborates the origin and significance of the topic selection,sorts out the research status of relevant literature at home and abroad,and explains the research object,research significance,research methods and research innovations of this paper.The first chapter analyzes the ritual communication context of CCTV’s “China in the Classics” program.In this part,the theoretical basis of this study "the view of ritual communication" theory is briefly introduced and sorted out,and the correlation between the theory and television media and the role of the theory in the paradigm of cultural television programs are clarified,and then the generating context of the program and its ritual communication is introduced.The second chapter starts with the selection of the ceremony theme and the innovative characteristics of the ritual communication of the program of "China in the Classics",and divides the program into five themes: jingdianzhi,shuyizhi,zhuzizhi,junshuzhi,and wenhanzhi.This chapter expounds the innovative ceremony characteristics from the four aspects: program process,music,presentation,and interaction.The third chapter explores the ritual interpretation of the program participants,focusing on the hosts,experts,and actors,and analyzes the roles played by various subjects.The host is the "controller" of the program process,the "explorer" of history and culture,the expert is the "interpreter" of classics,and the actor plays the role of "showman" of classics.The fourth chapter focuses on the realistic space,historical space and overlapped space of the program.This chapter analyzes the realistic space outlined by the program through stage,lighting,costume and props,the historical space presented by the film shooting technique,immersive interpretation and imaginative fictional ritual,and the overlapped space built by time travel,passage and dialogue and further leads to explore the construction of the program’s ritual space.The fifth chapter elaborates the influence of program ritual communication and analyzes the value of program ritual communication from three aspects: inheriting classic culture,cultivating national spirit,and maintaining cultural security.From the three aspects of making good use of traditional cultural resources,innovating the way of cultural inheritance,and creating the matrix of cultural transmission,the inspiration of "China in the Classics" to similar programs is summarized.The conclusion summarizes the research content of this paper,puts forward the shortcomings of this research as well as the author’s future planning and prospects for this research direction. |
