A Study Of Female Discourse In The "Talk Show" Series

With the development of internet technology,modern media technology has provided a platform for the expression of female discourse.In recent years,various mainstream video websites have produced and broadcast many phenomenal talk show variety show,which have become an outlet for women’s emotional expression and also provide more female perspectives for the audience.The "Talk Show" not only promotes the new form of comedy "Talk Show" to the public,but also creates an opportunity to expand women’s discourse space.Therefore,the paper uses case study and content research methods,with feminism as the theoretical background,and focuses on exploring the way in which talk show actors construct female discourse in The "Talk Show".Through statistical analysis of actors and their performance topics,it was found that female talk show actors were the main ones discussing women’s topics in "Talk Show".As female topics gained more attention,male talk show actors gradually joined the ranks of discussing women’s topics.By summarizing the data and constructing categories,the paper mainly explores the ways in which female discourse is constructed in "Talk Show Conference" from two perspectives: female perspective and male perspective.Research has found that female talk show actors mainly construct female discourse around four topics: gender relations,"female stereotypes",female anxiety,and patriarchal and patriarchal culture;Male talk show actors mainly express their support and respect for women from three perspectives: building a microecology of "female superiority and male inferiority",reflecting on their understanding and respect for women as men,and focusing their observations on men themselves;In addition,celebrity guests,as opinion leaders in the discourse of "Talk Show Conference",their evaluations and opinions also have a guiding effect on the audience’s attitude.However,there are also some issues with the expression of women’s discourse in "Talk Show",such as the commercial nature of the program dissolving women’s subjectivity and independence,and extreme discourse exacerbating gender conflicts.This indicates that the expression mechanism of women’s discourse in "Talk Show" is not mature,and the expansion of women’s discourse space is a long way to go,requiring joint efforts from all parties to achieve gender equality in society.
