In 2011,our country issued the programme for the development of children in China(2011-2020),which explicitly requires that work be carried out to promote a graded system of children’s publishing,providing different reading guidance for children of different ages,this marks our country’s children’s publications classification work to rise to the national strategic level.Subsequently,the promulgation of the Regulations on the promotion of Reading for all in 2016 further requires that the promotion of graded reading should be based on the physical and mental development and reading requirements of children at different stages,the age range suitable for children’s reading should be marked in the prominent position of the publication,which also means that the grading system for children’s Reading in our country’s publishing market has officially entered the practical stage.As children’s graded reading of paper books in the market has won the satisfaction of parents and children’s love,more and more publishers began to try to use digital media technology innovation,combine graded reading with digital reading.Through dynamic,colorful,three-dimensional novel multi-sensory parallel reading way,further stimulate children’s reading interest,access to a pleasant reading experience.The new reading form and content not only stimulate the vitality of children’s reading market,but also lead to the discussion on grading standards,content setting,reading guidance services and so on.According to the research theme,this paper defines the concepts of graded reading,children’s graded reading standard and children’s books digital publishing,based on the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and the theory of cognitive development,through the method of participatory observation and literature research,this paper makes an objective observation on the current situation of digital publication of children’s books in the market.On the other hand,questionnaire survey and in-depth interview are conducted to summarize the subjective experience of the readers of digital graded reading products.From the subjective and objective aspects,the author sums up the problems such as the shallow level of reading content,the lack of market subsidence and the imperfect reading guidance service.Based on the above problems,this paper puts forward three strategies: to optimize the reading process,to develop high-quality content,to improve social cognition,to open up new markets,to carry out the concept of grading,and to perfect the reading service.The accelerating convergence of the Internet age and digital technology is forcing the publishing industry to move in an unfamiliar but booming direction.I believe that with the increasing popularity of AR and VR devices,digital graded reading of children’s books will incorporate more diverse forms and contents.This paper provides some suggestions on the digital publishing of children’s books with the help of the concept of graded reading,which is helpful for the publishing industry to better respond to the market demand and achieve long-term development.
