| China is at the historical combination of a new round of industrial transformation and digital development.In order to grasp the opportunities and challenges brought by the new round of industrial revolution,China proposed to improve the level of modernization of the industrial chain to promote the continuous improvement of the economic system.The modernization of the industrial chain is not only a necessary requirement for realizing the new development pattern based on the domestic circulation,but also a major measure taken by the country in the face of global changes.In the past,China’s industry has been at a lower level in the world,producing goods and services without technological content,in the lower end of the value chain position.It is also due to our lack of some important technologies that our products and services have lost their competitive edge in the world.Therefore,our current priority is to promote the modernization of the industrial chain and improve competitiveness,which is not only about our ability to cope with the unprecedented changes of the century,but also the best choice for our country under the impact of the epidemic.Digital transformation is the key factor to promote the new round of industrial revolution.Digital transformation of manufacturing industry plays an important role in changing the internal production mode of enterprises,reconstructing the organization mode of industrial chain,promoting technology sharing among industrial chains and enhancing the modernization level of industrial chains.Therefore,it is important to study the impact of digital transformation of manufacturing industry on the modernization of industry chain.Firstly,based on the definition of relevant concepts and existing literature,the evaluation index system of digital transformation of manufacturing industry and modernization of industry chain is constructed,and the entropy value method is applied to measure the level of digital transformation of manufacturing industry and modernization of industry chain.Second,in analyzing the mechanism of digital transformation of manufacturing industry to enhance the level of industry chain modernization,the driving effect of digital transformation of manufacturing industry on industry chain modernization is analyzed in general,and regional heterogeneity and temporal heterogeneity are analyzed.Finally,the driving effect of digital transformation of manufacturing industry on each part of industry chain modernization is analyzed separately from the four dimensions of industry chain modernization.The following conclusions are obtained from the above analysis: 1.In recent years,the progress of digital transformation of China’s manufacturing industry has advanced year by year,and digital transformation achieved a jump in 2015.2.The degree of transformation varies greatly among provinces,and the degree of digital transformation of the manufacturing industry in the eastern provinces is much higher than that in the central and western regions.3.The modernization level of China’s industrial chain shows a continuous momentum of improvement;the industrial organization and innovation capability contribute more to the modernization level of the industrial chain.4.In general,digital transformation of manufacturing industry can drive the level of industry chain modernization and has regional and temporal heterogeneity;from the regional perspective,digital transformation of manufacturing industry has a positive impact on the level of industry chain modernization and the impact is more significant in the eastern region;from the temporal perspective,the promotion effect of digital transformation of manufacturing industry on the level of industry chain modernization after 2015 is more significant than that before 2015.5.From the viewpoint of the dimensions of industry chain modernization,the digital transformation of manufacturing industry has the greatest impact on the innovation of the chain,followed by the perfection of industrial organization,and then the corresponding weakening of economic efficiency and green intensification. |
