With the continuous growth of integrated circuit scale,the problems brought about by circuit heat dissipation,static power consumption,photomask technology,etc.are gradually emerging.The proportional reduction and Moore’s law have approached the physical limit,and integrated circuit technology is limited by a series of basic physical process technology issues in terms of speed,power consumption,integration,reliability,etc.In order to overcome these challenges,we can use new information processing technologies,such as multivalued logic,and research new devices,such as memristor.This paper combines memristor with multivalued logic,and takes ternary logic as an example to study the design of multivalued memristor circuits.Not only can it solve some of the problems faced in current integrated circuits,but it is also one of the trends in the development of the next generation of integrated circuits.In this paper,the mathematical model of the ideal ternary memristor is first proposed.According to the mathematical model,the circuit of the ideal ternary memristor model is constructed,and the performance indicators such as frequency,voltage,threshold and memristor characteristics are analyzed and optimized.Finally,the hardware circuit is built for experimental verification.The operating results of the hardware circuit are consistent with the software simulation results,and its operating frequency range is wide,It can achieve ternary characteristics within the range of 1Hz-2k Hz,and has functions such as controllable threshold and memristor values.It is more outstanding than existing ternary memristor circuits.Subsequently,based on the ternary lattice algebra system and the ternary module algebra system,the ternary memristor digital logic unit was designed.The circuit structures of the ternary memristor literal logic unit,ternary memristor AND/OR/NOT logic unit,ternary memristor multifunctional logic unit,ternary memristor module triple addition logic unit,and ternary memristor module triple multiplication logic unit were implemented.A ternary memristor numerical comparator,a ternary memristor half-adder,and a ternary memristor full-adder were designed with ternary literal operations as the core.The designed ternary memristor adder circuit has universality.Finally,a discussion was conducted in the multivalued memristor trigger circuit.A ternary memristor Schmitt trigger circuit is designed and applied to waveform transformation,pulse amplitude discrimination,etc.The above research enriches the application of memristor digital circuits in the field of multivalued logic.At the same time,the design of multivalued memristor logic circuits has certain innovation,which provides new ideas for solving the problems faced by integrated circuits.
