With the development of the software information technology service industry,more and more companies are undertaking software delivery projects,and more and more software practitioners are investing in software delivery project work.Software delivery projects have the characteristics of fast demand changes,strong customer perception,and high requirements for fast delivery.Therefore,the quality of software delivery projects and the ability of software delivery project employees are particularly important,directly determining the survival and development of enterprises,As a high-tech enterprise specializing in software delivery,improving the quality of software delivery projects and the delivery ability of employees is an urgent issue that needs to be addressed.This article takes the software delivery project employees of GT Company as the research object,and by studying the current situation of performance management for software delivery project employees of GT Company,it identifies potential problems that may exist at present.Through survey questionnaires and interviews,the problems in performance management of employees in software delivery projects were analyzed,and the reasons for the problems were identified.The main problems were unclear performance management concepts,incomplete performance management processes,and lack of effective data support for performance implementation processes.The reason was that GT Company’s performance management concepts were not clear,resulting in problems in all processes of performance management.This article proposes reasonable suggestions for optimizing the performance management of software delivery project employees in response to existing performance management issues.Through the comprehensive performance theory,based on the characteristics of the enterprise and the characteristics of the position,propose optimization suggestions for employee performance management in software delivery projects suitable for GT Company,to help the enterprise improve the quality of software delivery and enhance employee software delivery ability.This article proposes reasonable and effective performance management optimization suggestions to solve the existing performance management problems of GT Company,redesigns performance management indicators,proposes a combination of group assessment and individual assessment,and proposes a combination of general indicators,job indicators,and selected indicators for individual assessment,which is more in line with the current management status of GT Company.The implementation process of performance management is closely aligned with the existing management process,The application of performance results is integrated with the existing incentives of the company,solving the existing performance management problems of GT company without changing the management process too much.Improve the delivery quality of software delivery projects and the delivery ability of employees,and enhance the company’s competitiveness.
