At present,the mainstream ideology of China is the socialist ideology with Marxism as the core content and the practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the basis.The mainstream ideology of China is the ideological expression of the interests of the proletariat and the general public.To promote the mainstream ideology of China to spread more widely,louder and farther,is of great significance to consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the field of ideology and consolidate the common ideological basis of the unity and struggle of the whole Party and the whole nation.The media is a vehicle for ideological communication.Media literacy is the ability of people to acquire,interpret,question,produce and disseminate various information through mass media.Whether various media subjects have good media literacy is directly related to whether the mainstream ideology can be better produced,disseminated,received and recognized,and directly related to the effectiveness of the Party’s ideological work.Especially with the rise of network media,the network communication of mainstream ideology has put forward higher requirements on the media literacy of various communication subjects.In this regard,we firstly clarify the relationship between media literacy and mainstream ideology communication,examine the media literacy problems of various network subjects such as divided media usage preference,insufficient information production,dissemination and identification ability,and explore the media literacy problems that lead to the fragmentation of the main body of mainstream ideology communication,and encounter difficulties in the expression of mainstream ideological discourse,content production and dissemination.The reasons for this are the backwardness of media literacy education,the lack of theoretical literacy and new media competence of network subjects,the obscuring of the social responsibility of network subjects by commercial interests,and the weakening of the political responsibility of network subjects by the lagging network norms,etc.In conclusion,based on the cultivation of media literacy of network subjects and the promotion of mainstream ideological communication in China,we explore a feasible path to improve the effectiveness of ideological work and enhance the effectiveness of mainstream ideological communication in China from three dimensions: media literacy education for all people,media literacy cultivation for media practitioners,and media literacy enhancement for ideologists.
