| In the report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping made important arrangements for "enhancing the influence of the communication power of Chinese civilization".Strengthening cross-cultural communication can promote China’s foreign cultural exchanges and multi-level civilization dialogue,continuously enhance the influence of Chinese civilization communication,and enhance the soft power of national culture.With the rapid development of the Internet industry,a series of industries such as social media and short video platforms have risen rapidly,and many new professions such as "Internet celebrities" have been driven.While the local Internet celebrity group gradually develops and expands,a group of "foreign Internet celebrities" have gradually entered the public’s field of vision.Most of them have the experience of studying and working in China.In their daily life,they experience and perceive everything in China in the way they are accustomed to.On this basis,they shoot short videos to share what they see and feel.Due to the "other" attribute of foreign Internet celebrities,it has unique congenital advantages in the field of cross-cultural communication.They provide a new entry point for China’s cross-cultural communication with the way of thinking and perspective of foreigners.Based on 10 foreign Internet celebrities with a high number of fans on the Bilibili platform,this paper takes their total of 200 short video works as the analysis object,studies the theme and characteristics of their short-sightedness,and explores the content characteristics of the short videos of foreign Internet celebrities that have gained a large number of audiences in the domestic short video platform Bilibili and their reference role in China in the cross-cultural field.Through the research,it is found that its reference experience in the field of cross-cultural communication for China’s cross-cultural communication includes exploring grassroots power,adhering to the audience standard,and giving short video cultural connotation.In addition to the experience that is worth learning from in the field of cross-cultural communication in China,there are also many problems in the current stage of foreign online celebrity,which is active in China’s short video platform.By analyzing the problems and finding out the corresponding solutions,we can promote the better development of the popular short video of foreign Internet celebrities in China and bring more enlightenment to the cross-cultural communication in China. |
