| Compared with other types of resources,characteristic resources are an important class of collection resources in university libraries,which have unique value of research and education.With the in-depth development of various research activities,more and more university libraries have realized the important role of characteristic resource construction for the development of the university,and many scholars have begun to explore the road of characteristic resource construction and service.However,the author found that many scholars’ research on characteristic resources mainly focused on a certain aspect of resource construction and resource service,and did not study the service of characteristic resources as a whole.Therefore,on the basis of comprehensive studies by other scholars,the author starts from the overall service work of characteristic resources and takes user demand as the guidance to explore and study the service system of characteristic resources of university libraries.Based on the theory of library elements and the theory of Kano model,this study comprehensively uses research methods such as literature research,network research,interview and questionnaire to investigate the current construction and service status of characteristic resources in domestic colleges and universities,and designs a user demand questionnaire,starting from the constituent elements of characteristic resources service in university libraries.In addition,Kano model is used to analyze user demand and satisfaction,and oriented by user demand,the construction of university library characteristic resource service system is completed.The main contents include:(1)Confirmation of user demand survey of university library characteristic resources.Based on the grounded theory,through three-layer coding and the extraction of categories and concepts in turn,this paper preliminarily determines the constituent elements of characteristic resource service of university library,and designs the framework model of characteristic resource service system.Then,guided by constituent elements,this paper uses network survey and expert interview to gradually confirm the user demand survey content of university library characteristic resources,which lays a foundation for the later construction of user demand survey questionnaire and service system.(2)User demand research and analysis.Based on the preliminary investigation of users’ demands,this paper designs the questionnaire of users’ demands for the characteristic resource services of university libraries by using Kano model,and analyzes users’ satisfaction with various services by using Better-Worse model to understand the tendency and characteristics of users’ demands.(3)Construction of characteristic resource service system.Based on the user’s demand characteristics and satisfaction with the characteristic resource service of university library,this paper determines the elements that should be included in the characteristic resource service of university library,and completes the construction of the characteristic resource service system based on the user’s demand.(4)Empirical research.In order to test the rationality and scientificity of the designed service system,this paper takes the characteristic resource service of a university library as an example,analyzes the existing problems through the investigation of the current situation,and combines the constructed characteristic resource service system,puts forward two working modes and improvement suggestions for it,and provides reference for the optimization of its characteristic resource service work.Based on the theory of "element theory",this paper confirms the constituent elements of characteristic resource service through literature research,so as to guide the direction of follow-up practice research.Then,by means of network research,expert interview and other methods,the user demand content of university library characteristic resources is investigated,and the questionnaire is designed to analyze the user demand.Based on user needs,the content of the service system is screened to complete the construction of the characteristic resource service system of university library.In the service system,the service object is the core and key of the whole system,the link of the system of the service subject,the service content and the service form are respectively the basis and performance of the system.All elements cooperate with each other,coordinate and unify,and jointly promote the continuous improvement of the service system.At the same time,the author will embed the research experts into each link of the service system.While meeting their service needs,the author will give full play to the professionalism of the research experts,improve the science and comprehensiveness of the service system,and provide new ideas for the innovation of university library service work. |
