A Study On The Relationship Between Interactive Ritual And Stratification Mobility Of Net Interest-based Group

Nowadays,with the highly popularity of the mobile Internet and the widely application of intelligent recommendation algorithms,the media platform can automatically push personalized content by monitoring users’ browsing habits.This technical background has created conditions for the formation of various online interest-based groups.Drawing on various social media platforms,individuals with the same “interest” gradually get together because of interest,forming their own “circle”.However,in the process of online interest-related culture’s transmission,with the continuous growth of interest-based groups,the originally equal and decentralized community structure features gradually tend to be hierarchical.Why does this hierarchical trend arise? What are the criteria? What impact will it have on the interestbased groups and even the whole real society? In order to reach a conclusion,this study attempts to analyze the internal logical relationship by observing the interaction ritual and hierarchical separation phenomenon of the “POPMART blind box players”,a kind of online interest-based group.Based on the method of online ethnography,this article conducts a research on the communication and interaction ritual behaviors of group members in the We Chat communication group of “POPMART blind box players” through participatory observation and in-depth interviews to obtain more detailed first-hand information,and focuses on answering the main questions of “What is the hierarchical division standard of online interest-based groups” and “What is the dynamic mechanism of the impact of interaction ritual on hierarchical mobility in groups”.The study found that: Firstly,there is indeed a hierarchical division within the interest-based group,and there are different evaluation criteria in different situations.Based on the significant characteristics of stratification phenomenon,this stratification criterion also has the distinction between implicit and explicit;Secondly,the level of individual members in the group is not static,they can achieve the flow of the level within the group through dynamic construction of interactive rituals.On the basis of the above research results,the author has refined and supplemented Collins’ s interactive ritual chains model,and reached the conclusion that “The construction of interactive rituals and the emergence of hierarchical phenomena do have a mutually determined and driven relationship”.Besides,the author discusses the positive and negative significance of this interactive relationship,in the hope of obtaining a preliminary understanding of the media communication and cultural phenomena within this interest-based group,and also making a useful supplement to the research on the interest-based cultural communication.
