Research On The Mode Of Guest Of Honor In Book Exhibition Based On Chinese Experience

At present,the international book fair plays an increasingly prominent role in the publishing industry.As a successful hosting mode of the international book fair,the guest-country mode of the book fair not only deepens the original function of the international book fair,but also expands its own characteristics and advantages.The practice of guest country of book exhibition is not only the manifestation of publishing behavior,but also the deep cultivation of cultural field.Focusing on the guest-state model of book exhibition as the research object,this study made comprehensive use of text analysis,case analysis,comparative analysis,to sort out the development history of the guest-state model of book exhibition,and investigate the two categories of our guest-state of book exhibition,namely the establishment of the guest-state of Chinese international book exhibition and our country as the guest-state of international book exhibition,and further explore the core elements and functions of the guest-state model of book exhibition.In order to better spread Chinese culture and tell the story of China’s publishing industry suggestions.The guest of honor mode of book Fair was born in Frankfurt Book Fair,known as the "Olympics" of publishing.The specialization and influence of Frankfurt Book Fair have laid a good foundation for it.In the process of development and evolution,the guest-of-honor mode has matured and been widely used in major international book fairs with its unique advantages.Behind the guest of honor of the book exhibition is the metaphor of international relations and the prominence of international status,which in essence is the practice of international exchange and communication.By comprehensively analyzing the activities of the book exhibition in our country from a macroscopic perspective,exploring the two types of performance and interaction,the analysis found that although the selection and serving of the guest of Honor are two distinct aspects,but have the same centripetal force,and serve the overall diplomatic situation of our country.Guest-guest country activities have an inspirational effect on the overall external communication practice of Chinese publishing industry.Based on China’s experience,it is found that organizers,organizers,exhibitors,visitors and exhibition places,as indispensable elements,constitute the main body of the guest-country mode of the book exhibition.The operation of the guest-country mode of the book fair starts from the organizer of the international book Fair,which is divided into the establishment of the mode by the organizer and the selection of the guest-country,followed by the planning and design of specific matters by the guest-country,and the promotion and marketing carried out jointly by the organizer and the guest-country runs through the whole process.Activities are the core part of this model,including ceremonial activities such as the opening and closing ceremonies,professional publishing activities,writers and scholars exchange activities,cultural performances and art exhibitions.The core of the guest-state model of the book exhibition is formed by integrating the main body,operation links and cultural activities.From the practice of exploring the practical significance of the mode of show-guest state,summed up the two functions.The first is the inherent function of publishing trade,which is to promote the exhibition and sale of books and obtain economic benefits;Expand copyright trade and expand international cooperation;Promote trade integration and increase publishing revenue.Second,to expand the function of cultural diplomacy,including close information exchange and dialogue among civilizations;Deepening cultural communication and shaping national image;Highlight cultural strength and enhance international discourse.
