With the exponential growth of communication users and services,wireless communication systems have to not only meet the requirements of strong interference resistance and high stability,but also deal with the urgent problem of spectrum exhaustion and fragmentation.In recent years,non-continuous spectrum communication has been proposed as an effective solution to spectrum resource constraints and to enhance spectrum utilization.Designing sequences and sequence sets with good correlation properties is essential for evaluating the capacity and performance of communication systems,but non-continuous spectrum communication systems can destroy the correlation of traditionally excellent sequences.To address these problems,this paper designs several types of sequences and sequence sets with good correlation for non-continuous spectrum communication,primarily involving the design of spectrally constrained complementary periodic pairs and interference-free zero correlation zone sequence sets.Firstly,based on the cyclotomic theory of order 4,two methods are provided for constructing multilevel periodic complementary pairs with odd prime length over integers,and the results obtained from the cyclotomic class of 4 complement the existing results of the cyclotomic class of 2.In addition,the multilevel periodic complementary pairs of new length are generated by shift-interleaving method.Secondly,from the frequency domain perspective,a class of periodic complementary pairs is constructed using the cyclotomic class 2 as the spectrum feature,two types of spectral constraint schemes are given,corresponding to the spectrally constrained complementary pairs with optimal cross correlation and their mates are obtained,and an optimization algorithm is proposed to reduce the peak-to-average power ratio of the sequences.For the constructed spectrally constrained training sequences,a communication system model is developed,and its performance is assessed.Finally,a new construction of interference-free zero correlation zone(IF-ZCZ)spectrally-constrained sequence sets is proposed,and the derived sequence set parameters reach the optimal theoretical bound.Based on the constructed IF-ZCZ sequence set and inverse discrete Fourier transform matrix,multiple sequence sets with good inter-set properties are acquired.By analyzing and modifying the construction method,multiple IF-ZCZ spectrally-constrained sequence sets with inter-set orthogonal property are obtained.
