Research On PMU Improvement Of J Company Based On Six Sigma Management

With the gradual maturity of the chip market,Six Sigma’s quality management mode has shown greater application value in semiconductor enterprises.It can take customers as the center,meet the development needs of enterprises,improve market competitiveness,and focus on the development goal of improving product quality.As a semiconductor company whose chip products are in the leading position in the world,J Company should not only pay attention to cost control,but also have considerable competitiveness in product quality if it wants to occupy a place in the market competition.The company has been adhering to the quality principle of "the pursuit of excellence,the pursuit of high quality development",to maintain the dominant position in the industry.In order to further improve product quality,the company introduced Six Sigma management in 2019.This ehesis analyzes the problems caused by the virtual welding of J Company’s chip products.In the definition stage(DefineD),the goal and scope of improvement are clearly defined.In the Measurement phase(Measure-M),process Analysis capability and Measurement Systems Analysis,test its process capability and measurement system;In the analysis stage(Analytica),according to the process sequence,the main influencing factors of PMU product quality are accurately identified,and the key factors are verified by hypothesis testing and regression analysis.In the stage of Improve-I,the main key factors are improved by using the all-factor experiment method,the optimal parameter combination is selected,and the secondary key factors are improved by the fast improvement method.In the Control phase(control-C),the control chart is used to monitor the improved effect through the above definition,measurement,analysis,improvement,control.Finally,the welding failure rate of power chip products was reduced from 649 PPM to 145 PPM.Quality level increased from 4.4 six Sigma to 4.74 Sigma;Customer satisfaction increased from 72.8 to 95.1;The project income is RMB 4,856,500.The results indicate that DMAIC can effectively improve product quality,achieve true benefit improvement and competitiveness enhancement.
