| With the advent of the era of big data and streaming media,data video as a narrative visualization is widely used in the fields of news,new media,education,economy,criminal investigation,film and television.Common data video production methods include using film and television tools,specific tools,programming code production,etc.However,there is always a lack of efficient and powerful production tools,and it still takes a lot of time and financial and material resources to produce a well-made data video.Film and television works are more expressive than conventional videos in terms of picture presentation,and this paper introduces the film and television animation production process as a methodology to the creation of data videos.For the creators,it reduces the creation threshold of data video to a certain extent and improves the artistic level of data video;for the viewers,it can enhance their visual perception and cognitive efficiency of data video,which is conducive to digging data information more deeply.This study systematically investigates the 3D data video generation method oriented to the film and television animation production process by taking the data visualization design theory as the guide,the 3D film and television animation production process as the entry point,the data video generation method as the research object,and the development of data video tools and example production as the test method.The research combines theoretical research,practical operation and example verification,and the results of this study can provide new methodological guidance for data video creation.The main research contents and innovation points of this paper are as follows:(1)Explain the definition of data video,application areas,creation methods and problems that arise in the creation process;in response to these problems,analyze the points that need to be followed in data video creation from the traditional data visualization design principles,and analyze the visualization design methods and design process of Tableau data visualization platform from the theoretical level,so as to propose the subsequent data video innovation theory and tool development Laying the theoretical foundation for the subsequent data video innovation theory and tool development;(2)Deriving from the traditional data visualization design principles the problems that need attention in the creation process of 3D dynamic data visualization,and taking the 3D film and television animation production process as the entry point,analyzing the advantages of combining 3D data video production with film and television animation production,and finally designing a system design scheme for 3D data video generation for the film and television animation production process;(3)According to the system design plan,we combine the traditional data visualization production method and the theory of film and television production in the film and television animation software Autodesk Maya,and focus on "data pre-processing-chart generation(modeling)-Chart stylization(rendering)-animation-export" logic of operation to develop a data video tool;(4)Through the production of static chart cases,data news cases,artistic charts and other types of cases from simple to deep eventually prove the innovation and feasibility of the theory and tools,as well as the advantages of the 3D data video automatic generation method for film and television animation production process,and finally make a summary of the whole set of processes based on case studies and expert feedback.The introduction of film and television animation production process into 3D data video production is innovative,combining the advantages of the convenience of automatic data visualization generation and the delicacy of film and television animation production,which provides an effective solution to the problems of tedious data video creation process and simple images.The practical part of the article provides practical support for the theory by developing the automatic data video generation tool GDVIS in the film and television animation software Maya,and the case production part later in the article also confirms the efficient operation process and exquisite generation effect of the 3D data video generation method for the film and television production process in the actual production process.Of course,the data video tool GDVIS in this topic still needs to be improved in terms of comprehensiveness of functions and robustness of the program,and the tool will be continuously updated according to user feedback after it is put on line,and the 3D data video generation methodology for film and television animation production process will be continuously enriched in the process of optimizing the tool.We also hope that the proposed theory can broaden the research ideas in the field of data video,and the development of the tool can truly provide convenience for the creation of data video. |
