Study On Crystal Pear Industry Competitiveness In Lianzhou City,Guangdong Province

Lianzhou crystal pear is currently an important pillar of Qingyuan’s agricultural industry.It is also the southern early maturing pear production base with the largest planting area in the East,West and north of Guangdong Province.With the rapid growth of crystal pear planting area,the output is also increasing year by year,and the benefit of orchard is also improving year by year.It has become an important source of farmers’ income in Lianzhou and has a good development prospect.The research on the competitiveness of Lianzhou crystal pear industry has great practical significance for promoting the sustainable and healthy development of Lianzhou crystal pear industry,increasing farmers’ income and promoting the agricultural development of Lianzhou City.At the same time,it also enriches the research perspective and content of industrial competitiveness.With the continuous development and improvement of market economy,Lianzhou crystal pear industry has gradually exposed a series of problems,especially in the aspects of logistics cost,labor cost,sales mode and the impact of foreign crystal pear varieties on the local market,which seriously restricts the industrial competitiveness of Lianzhou crystal pear.In order to better solve the practical problem of the weak competitiveness of Lianzhou crystal pear industry,according to the existing competitive advantages and potential development advantages of Lianzhou crystal pear industry,this paper makes a multifaceted analysis on the competitiveness of Lianzhou crystal pear industry,which is mainly divided into four aspects: the first aspect is to analyze the development status of crystal pear planting output,regional distribution and production efficiency,Combined with the industrial model and brand construction,this paper makes a basic analysis on the industrial development status of crystal pear industry in Lianzhou City.On the second hand,through the construction of analytical indicators on the cost price and income of Lianzhou crystal pear industry,we can get the high input,high output and medium income of Lianzhou crystal pear industry.At the same time,through the use of Porter’s five forces model,we can determine the competitiveness of peer competitors,the substitution ability of alternative products,the entry ability of potential competitors Through the analysis of the five abilities of buyers’ bargaining power and suppliers’ bargaining power,it is concluded that the suppliers’ bargaining power of Lianzhou crystal pear industry is relatively weak,and the entry ability of potential competitors,the bargaining power of buyers,the competitiveness of competitors in the same industry and the substitution ability of substitutes are strong.Thirdly,by selecting six county and city level main pear producing areas in Qingyuan City and four representative county and city level main pear producing areas in China with high similarity of pear species,this paper constructs four evaluation indexes,such as location entropy index,scale advantage index,efficiency advantage index and comprehensive advantage index,and makes an Empirical Analysis on the competitiveness of pear industry in these regions.It is concluded that Lianzhou crystal pear industry has obvious advantages in scale and output,The yield advantage per unit yield area is not obvious.Although the industry has certain competitiveness,there are still some problems restricting the competitiveness of Lianzhou crystal pear industry,such as large variety investment,low management efficiency,high investment risk,too short industrial chain,imperfect market mechanism and unreasonable industrial organization structure.On the fourth hand,through the comprehensive analysis of the above research,we draw a conclusion,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of Lianzhou Crystal Pear Industry: develop "Internet +agriculture" and broaden sales channels;Strengthen technical training and cultivate new agricultural business entities;Appropriate preferential policies to alleviate financial difficulties;Improve the market mechanism and reduce the investment risk;Improve the construction of industrial chain and extend the sales cycle.
