Driven by the new generation of information technology, major industrial countries and regions around the world have taken measures to accelerate the digital transformation of manufacturing.Manufacturing industry,as the "foundation" of China’s economic development, has brought enormous pressure to the environment due to extensive development mode in the past.Under the current "double carbon" policy, how to gradually reduce carbon emissions while developing and how to make the green and low-carbon innovative development of manufacturing industry has become an important research topic. At the same time, the digital transformation of manufacturing industry has become an inevitable requirement for the high-quality development of China’s manufacturing industry,so the impact of digital transformation of manufacturing industry on green innovation is worth exploring. The new generation of information technology enables the research and development, manufacturing, marketing and service of the manufacturing industry, optimizes the process, improves the efficiency, provides a good technical environment for green development, and promotes the green innovation development of the manufacturing industry. Therefore, this paper studies the impact of digital transformation of manufacturing industry on green innovation performance from the dimensions of different links, which is of guiding significance to explore the mechanism of digital transformation on the development of green innovation and how to develop the promotion effect of digital transformation in a targeted way.First of all, based on the literature of manufacturing transformation and upgrading, digital transformation and green innovation performance, this paper summarizes and proposes the connotation of manufacturing digital transformation and green innovation performance, and explores its impact on green innovation performance from four dimensions of manufacturing digital research and development, manufacturing, marketing and service transformation.Based on the analysis of the impact of digital transformation on manufacturing industry,it is proposed that digital transformation affects green innovation performance through the intermediary of innovation agglomeration.Secondly, after comparing the measurement methods of green innovation performance,it decided to use DEA-Malmquist to measure green innovation performance based on input-output perspective.multiple regression method was used to empirically verify the hypothesis with SPSS26.0 and other software. Finally, according to the empirical results, countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the performance of green innovation through digital transformation of manufacturing industry. The research results show that the digital transformation under the regulation of environmental responsibility three of the four dimensions(except for the digital manufacturing main transformation effect significantly,is not subject to adjustment)are the positive influence of green innovation performance, but only in the digital intermediary inspection shows innovation gather research and development transformation in the process of the influence of green innovation performance shows the cover effect; Finally, the moderated mediation test results show that environmental responsibility can play a moderating role in the mediation of innovation agglomeration, making part of the mediation effect become significant, which is reflected in the first half of digital research and development transformation, digital marketing, and the whole process of service transformation. In general, digital transformation of manufacturing industry has a positive impact on green innovation performance, and environmental responsibility also plays a significant moderating role.
