With the increasing competition in the banking industry,the demand of multi-level development of talent structure and specialized talents is rising.City commercial banks pay more and more attention to the psychological security and employee engagement in the area of human resources development.In the current fierce competition environment,bank employees feel high level of stress and competitiveness,especially in the city commercial banks which strive to improve their talent structure.If their psychological feeling is underestimated,it would seriously affect their engagement to the enterprise and cause a significant loss of talents.Previous studies on human resource management focused more on the integration of organizational performance and human resources.Without considering the employees’ own development and feelings,they can not fully stimulate the employees’emotion which leads to the dilemma that employees will not devote themselves to their work and continuously reduce their engagement.Therefore,the study on the relationship between developmental human resource management and employee engagement in this paper is quite prospective and necessary.Considering the talent structure as a breakthrough,the study conducted a questionnaire survey and model analysis,including some specific questions for employees in city commercial banks,and tried to understand their psychological security and engagement relatively comprehensively.By studying the important impact of developmental human resource management on employee engagement more specifically,it provides more problem-specific and practical management suggestions for city commercial banks to improve their employee engagement.Based on the overall analysis of developmental human resource management,psychological security and employee engagement,this study started with the concept of developmental human resource management of promotion,performance and training,introduced the intermediary variable of psychological security,and integrate the research results of relevant scholars.Through reliability analysis,validity analysis,correlation analysis,UTAUT model analysis and other statistical analysis techniques,this paper used AMOS and SPSS21.0 statistical software for data analysis and hypothesis verification to explore the relationship between variables.The research found that the developmental human resource management has positive impacts on employee engagement and psychological security,while psychological security shows positive impacts on employee engagement,and developmental human resource management can influence employee engagement positively through the intermediary of psychological security.
