| Petroleum, also known as "black gold",as a strategic material, has a pivotal position.Countries around the world take petroleum resources as a diplomatic means to ensure their own energy security through petroleum diplomacy.Petroleum is as important as capital, labour and technology, affects the world economic pattern to a certain extent. With the acceleration of industrialization in China, domestic petroleum reserves are scarce. In recent years, more and more domestic petrochemical enterprises have responded to China’s "Belt and Road"initiative and gone abroad to invest in countries which are rich in petroleum and gas resources, which not only ensures China’s petroleum supply, but also conforms to China’s "double carbon" strategy. Therefore,in the complex international environment, how to identify and evaluate risks quickly and accurately, how to put forward effective risk prevention strategies is of profound significance to the overseas investment of Chinese enterprises. The dissertation takes HY petrochemical company as the research object, aiming at the company’s investment in Brunei oil project, and carries on the risk management research for this project.Based on the characteristics of the PMB project invested by the company in Brunei, through risk identification,it is concluded that the project has seven types of risks in political law, economy, society, technology, nature, integration and operation.According to the identification results, the project risk evaluation model is constructed by combining the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)with the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method during the risk evaluation,so as to get the levels of various risks. Finally, based on the results of risk evaluation and risk avoidance, mitigation, transfer, retention and other strategies, the corresponding prevention strategies are formulated for each risk. The research results of this dissertation enrich the research on the theory and risk management of transnational cooperation between China and Brunei. Its risk identification, evaluation and prevention strategies can be used as a reference for the petrochemical company and other similar enterprises to invest in ASEAN countries. |
