Can The My Country’s Digital Economy Help The Improvement Of Regional Innovation Capabilities

With the rapid development of a new generation of information technology,the digital economy has become one of the key measures to build an innovative country and one of the important driving forces to boost the economy.Digital economic activities have injected new vitality into the global economic recovery,and the wealth created by them has exploded,and the scale of the digital economy has continued to expand.Different from the traditional economic development model,the digital economy is a new economic form with digital information and data as production factors.Through digital technology,the three paths of deriving new industries,generating new models,and empowering traditional industries will further stimulate regional development.The R&D enthusiasm of innovative subjects and regional economic development.In recent years,especially after the outbreak of the new crown epidemic,the central government has successively issued a series of policies related to the development of the digital economy and made decisions and deployments.In this context,with the continuous improvement of the development level of digital technology,on the one hand,new changes have occurred in people’s thinking and cognition,and on the other hand,the technological revolution is also profoundly affecting the way of life of the government,enterprises and families.Therefore,this requires us to make efficient use of information technology,effectively allocate digital resources,and realize high-quality transformation of the economy empowered by the digital economy.On the basis of discussing the relevant literature on the digital economy and regional innovation,and using the panel data of cities in my country,this paper adopts the principal component method to construct the digital economy comprehensive development index from the two dimensions of Internet development and digital transaction development.A robust empirical test of the influence mechanism of a macro factor on regional innovation capability.The research structure of this subject is mainly divided into six chapters.Among them:the first chapter is the introduction;the second chapter is the related concepts and theoretical basis;the third chapter is the mechanism analysis of the digital economy affecting the regional innovation capability;the fourth chapter is the status quo analysis of the digital economy and regional innovation capability;the fifth chapter is an empirical test of the digital economy on regional innovation capabilities;Chapter 6 is a summary and discussion.The research finds: First,the digital economy has promoted the improvement of China’s regional innovation capabilities.This conclusion is still true after a series of robust tests.However,compared with the eastern region and resource-based cities,the digital economy is in the central and western regions and Africa.The dividends of resource-based cities are released more fully.Secondly,in terms of the analysis of the impact mechanism,the impact of the digital economy on regional innovation capabilities is more significant in regions with a low level of financial development,a low level of industrial structure upgrading,and a low level of human capital development.The research of this topic provides a new perspective for the positive impact of digital economic development from the perspective of regional innovation,and provides policy references for empowering regional innovation capabilities.
