| With the rise of the digital technology revolution, digital trade,as a new form of trade empowered by digital technology, has become a new driving force for promoting the highquality development of economy and trade under the background of the new pattern of "double cycle" development. The development of digital trade is also accompanied by the improvement of trade efficiency and the acceleration of the upgrading of traded products. In addition, the implementation and depth of China’s new development concept can be reflected in the growth of green total factor productivity.Digital trade, supported by digital technological innovation, can provide impetus for the growth of green total factor productivity,so exploring the relationship between the development of digital trade and green total factor productivity is in line with the development needs of the current stage. This paper first takes the concept of digital trade as the starting point to sort out the relevant domestic and foreign literature, and then sorts out the role of the two on green total factor productivity through the digital economy with its strong relevance. The RAGA projection tracing model is used to construct an evaluation system for the development level of digital trade in China, and to quantitatively assess the development status of digital trade in major provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. In addition, the GML index of the SBMDDF model is used to measure the green total factor productivity of major provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China. The relevant data are then regressed for time effect and province effect, and the reliability of the results is verified by the tool variable method. Finally, the step-by-step regression method is used to test the impact of digital trade on China’s green total factor productivity. The final results show that: First, digital trade promotes the growth of green total factor productivity, and there is obvious regional heterogeneity in this effect, and for regions with developed digital levels, the promotion effect of digital trade on green total factor productivity is more significant.Second,China’s overall green total factor productivity shows a growth trend, but there is still an imbalance in regional development, that is,the green total factor productivity of developed provinces in the east is obviously better than other regions.Third, the impact of digital trade on green total factor productivity can be achieved indirectly through financial development, industrial structure and human capital. |
