Valuation Of Data Assets Of Internet Enterprises Based On Multi-period Excess Income Method

In recent years,with the rise of the Internet and the rapid development of network technology,the wave of the Network has made our lives surrounded by digital information,and the mobile Internet is also facing new challenges and opportunities in the "data wave".While people enjoy the new experience brought by the Internet,they also generate information all the time,and some of this information will be recorded,mined,analyzed and sorted out,and formed into what we call "data".Data is particularly important for enterprises,on the one hand,data information can improve the insight ability of enterprises and provide a basis for enterprises to make reasonable decisions;on the other hand,the digital information age leads to information abuse,which brings great challenges to the development of enterprises.The state has also begun to attach importance to the role of the digital economy,General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that it is necessary to promote the integrated development of the digital economy and the industrial economy,grasp the direction of digitalization,networking and intelligence,use modern network technology to improve the utilization rate of data asset elements,and give play to the amplification,superposition and multiplication of digital information on economic development.Meng Yan,vice president of the Digital Asset Research Institute,also said that in the future asset trading activities,data assets will take the stage,and data assetization is an inevitable trend.This will guide Internet companies to pay more attention to the use of data elements and promote the faster and better development of the digital economy.As far as the current situation is concerned,the mining,circulation and operation of data resources have become an inevitable trend,and Internet companies can use their unique advantages to develop and excavate data resources,process and accumulate,and provide external services by managing data assets,which is very important for Internet companies to obtain profits.This thesis evaluates the value of data assets of Internet enterprises against the background of the rise of the Internet and the widespread application of information technology.The structure of the article is composed of six parts,which first expound the opportunities and challenges faced by all walks of life in the context of the Internet,explain the research significance of this thesis,and conduct research analysis and comprehensive discussion of the literature of predecessors.Secondly,the theoretical basis of evaluation and related concepts are discussed,and the feasibility of the excess return method is obtained by comparing and analyzing other valuation methods.Then build an evaluation model and introduce the evaluation method.Because the multi-period excess return model mainly processes financial data through free cash flow,it ignores the impact of the data asset’s own indicators.Therefore,after using the difference method to divest the value of other non-data assets,the correction coefficient is adjusted by using the chromatography method and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Finally,the model is applied to the actual case,and the data asset value is calculated by taking Baoxin Software as an example.This research is an exploration of the practical evaluation of data assets,which can not only improve the theoretical system of data asset evaluation in China,provide method reference for the majority of scholars,but also help enterprise managers to pay attention to the use of data elements in business activities,release the vitality of data assets,seize market opportunities,and improve the economic benefits of enterprises.
