structure,low degree of informatization,and large scale but weak competitiveness.Therefore,accelerating the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry is an important task currently.Big data,artificial intelligence,the Internet of Things,and other emerging technologies have a profound impact on the manufacturing industry.Intelligent manufacturing with digital,networked,and intelligent as the key features has become the main direction of the manufacturing industry.With the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing,value creation pattern changes from value chain to value network.Based on digital technology,value network eliminates the information barriers between enterprises.Under the leadership of core enterprises,through the efficient integration of value network member advantage resources,it can effectively realize product technology and service innovation,and create differentiated value for customers.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the value creation pattern based on value network theory to promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.As a leading enterprise in the household appliance industry,Haier Smart Home has kept pace with The Times and experienced the strategies of famous brand,diversification,internationalization,globalization,and network.With the arrival of the Internet of Things era,Haier has adjusted the strategic direction with the times again and put forward the ecological brand strategy.Relying on intelligent manufacturing,Haier has realized the transformation from a household appliance product manufacturer to a smart home solution service provider.Its successful experience of Haier is inseparable from the value network creation pattern.Therefore,it is typical to study the value creation path of Haier Smart Home based on the value network theory.Firstly,this thesis reviews the relevant literature on value network theory at home and abroad,and determines the research direction.Secondly,from the theoretical level expounds the related concepts of value network,value network model,value creation path,and the theoretical basis of value creation.Thirdly,introduce the enterprise information related to the value network in detail.Fourthly,this thesis analyzes the value creation path of Haier based on the value network theory from three aspects of user demands,organization structure,and management tools.And makes horizontal and vertical comparisons with the same industry enterprise Midea and Gree to analyze its value creation effect.Finally,summarizes the case conclusion and experience enlightenment,and provides the reference for other enterprises to realize value creation from the perspective of value network.Based on the case analysis of the Haier Smart Home,this thesis draws the following conclusions: the value network is activated from the strategic level with user demand as the core of value creation.By incorporating users into the value creation system,the enterprise changes from inventory production to user creation,which meets product differentiation and drives the strategy adjustment.The operation pattern of “Platform + small and micro units”effectively integrates value network resources from the organization level,realizes user value,and ensures strategic landing.The win-win value-added table ensures the value measurement and distribution from the management tool level,and drives the value network to continuously optimize and upgrade.The paths of value creation interact with each other and drive the efficient operation of the value network,which not only effectively improves the value of enterprises,but also promotes the win-win value-added of value network members.The success of Haier can provide the following reference suggestions for other enterprises:Firstly,strengthen the user experience and improve the participation of user value creation.Enterprises should not only pay attention to the user’s demand for product function but also pay attention to the user’s expression of product creativity.Strengthen the user’s whole process experience in value creation,and realize product customization.Secondly,break industry boundaries and integrate heterogeneous resources.Through the platform organization,change itself into a node in the value network,connect external resources,and share resources with partners,to improve the
