With the separation of enterprise ownership and management rights,the business activities of enterprises are more flexible,which also brings the contradiction of principal-agent.In this context,the equity incentive mechanism gives long-term incentives to enterprise managers and makes them become shareholders of the enterprise,so as to form a united front between managers and owners of the enterprise,and promote the long-term development of the enterprise.However,the consideration of Chinese enterprises in formulating relevant equity incentive schemes is not mature enough,and the implementation process needs to be improved.The impact of the implementation of equity incentive on enterprise performance needs to be further explored.Thunder Software Technology Co.,Ltd.is a leading enterprise in the world,which can provide products and technologies for intelligent operating systems.The company was established in 2008 and listed on the A-share market of GEM in 2015.After the listing of Thunder Software Technology Co.,Ltd.,equity incentive has been implemented as a system for a long time.Six equity incentive plans were implemented for employees at home and abroad from 2016 to 2021.What is the specific content of Thunder Software Technology Co.,Ltd.’s equity incentive? What changes has it brought to enterprise performance? All these questions are worth studying.Firstly,on the basis of summarizing the research results at home and abroad and relevant theories,this thesis introduces the equity incentive plan and implementation of Thunder Software Technology Co.,Ltd.over the years,and analyzes the reasons for its implementation.Secondly,this thesis uses the event research method,the financial index analysis method and the Data Envelopment Analysis method to deeply explore the performance changes of enterprises before and after the implementation of the scheme.The evaluation results are as follows: In terms of market performance,it is considered that market investors have a positive response to the equity incentive plan implemented in 2017 by observing the response of the company’s share price within 15 days before and after the announcement of the equity incentive plan.This thesis studies the financial performance of the enterprise and believes that their profitability and development ability are significantly affected.In terms of technological innovation performance,the incentive scheme has played an effective incentive role for core technicians,and the comprehensive technical efficiency of the enterprise has been improved.Finally,through the analysis of the implementation performance of equity incentive,the following enlightenment and reference are obtained: The implementation of equity incentive in enterprises will have a certain role in promoting performance.The premise of obtaining a good positive effect is to pay attention to the diversified selection of equity incentive mode,the matching between incentive object and enterprise nature,the diversification of performance indicators and the reasonable and appropriate setting of exercise conditions.
