Research On The Optimization Of Operational Risk Management Strategy Of Y Rural Commercial Bank’s Counter Business

The advancement of science and technology have caused frequent occurrence of various financial fraud cases,which has brought great challenges to the risk management of the bank’s over-the-counter business.The international financial community and regulatory organizations have already begun to study operational risk management and the construction of operational risk organizational frameworks,and have made significant progress.However,in recent years,the number of operational risk cases in commercial banks has been increasing.Unfavorable operational risk prevention and control may cause great losses to banks,and even worse,bankruptcies.Y Rural Commercial Bank was originally YC Rural Cooperative Bank and YC Suburban Rural Credit Cooperative.In 2012,these two financial institutions established a joint-stock Y Rural Commercial Bank through merger.With the rapid development of Y Rural Commercial Bank,its ability to control operational risk of counter business has obviously not kept up with the development,operational risk events of counter business have been frequent.It caused huge losses to the bank.This paper compares the operational risk management of domestic and foreign counter businesses through the literature research method,and illustrates the urgency and necessity of the research in this thesis.Analyzing the current counter business operation risk management strategy of Y Rural Commercial Bank,and explores the problems and causes of operational risk cases,and proposed relevant optimization strategies.In the end,it formulated the implementation plan,put forward several guarantees from the four aspects.
