| As the embodiment of employees’ attitude and tendency towards their own work,working environment and work experience,job satisfaction has a direct impact on enterprise performance,turnover intention and other indicators.Scholars have studied employee job satisfaction from the perspectives of salary,promotion,interpersonal communication with colleagues,working environment,leadership style and behavior of superior leaders.Among them,leadership style is considered to be the key factor affecting employees’ job satisfaction and plays a unique role in the internal environment of the organization.However,at present,the research on the impact of leadership style on employee job satisfaction mostly focuses on developed countries and regions,while there is less research on enterprises in developing countries,and the dimension division of leadership style is not unified in relevant studies,especially few studies pay attention to the impact of transactional leadership on employee job satisfaction.Therefore,this paper refers to the research results of leadership style and job satisfaction,and combines the data of Yemen bank for research.The results show that:(1)transformational and transactional leadership have a significant positive impact on employee satisfaction.(2)Compared with transactional leadership,transformational leadership can significantly improve employees’ job satisfaction.(3)Under transformational leadership,age and education level a repositively correlated with job satisfaction,while there is no significant correlation between employee gender and job satisfaction.The causal relationship between leadership style and employee job satisfaction is an important research topic.Taking developing countries as the research object,this paper makes an in-depth study on the relationship between transformational leadership,transactional leadership,laissez faire leadership and job satisfaction.This conclusion is not only helpful for managers to select appropriate leadership styles according to different development stages and situations,and make adaptive adjustments to leadership styles,so as to promote the improvement of employee job satisfaction and enterprise performance,but also helpful to understand the situation of leadership styles and employee job satisfaction in developing countries,so as to provide a theoretical basis for comparative research in the future. |
