| Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic,the global economy has entered a downturn.The development of the enterprise has been greatly impacted by COVID-19.In the epidemic,small and medium-sized enterprises faced the shortage of orders,increased production costs,difficulties in recruitment,turnover tide,and production on schedule.Finally,it leads small and medium-sized enterprises towards to the shortage of working capital,staff anxiety,organizational structure instability and overall enterprise performance could not be achieved.Whether the COVID-19 epidemic period or its end,due to the shortage of funds,small and medium-sized enterprises could not achieve the results of improving staffs work performance through high material incentives under the premise of taking cost reduction as the leading factor.However,the research on the spiritual motivation of labor service personnel is rarely involved.Therefore,among piece-rate pay workers,how to improve employee performance based on individual motivation has become a major issue for more and more small and medium-sized entity enterprises.Based on the research results of previous domestic and foreign scholars,this study concluded that employees’ self-efficacy would be positively affected by intrinsic motivation,which in turn would have a positive impact on employees’ work performance.Based on this,the theoretical model was constructed by taking self-efficacy as the intermediary variable.Meanwhile,considering that the research background was in the period of epidemic,the mental health of employees was taken as the moderating variable.Mental health plays a mediating role between self-efficacy and job performance.This study takes the small and medium-sized entity company of K Auto maintenance Company as the research object.Through studying the differences of individual intrinsic motivation during the epidemic,the work performance is affected.This study also included self-efficacy and mental health as mediating and moderating variables,explored the role of self-efficacy on intrinsic motivation and job performance,and the role of mental health on self-efficacy and job performance,and proposed countermeasures for small and medium-sized enterprises in the epidemic situation.These are the purposes and highlights of this study.Literature research,questionnaire and data processing analysis are mainly used to study for theoretical model and empirical analysis.Finally,the main conclusions are as follows:First,intrinsic motivation has a positive impact on job performance.Second,intrinsic motivation has a positive impact on self-efficacy.Third,self-efficacy has a positive impact on job performance.Fourth,self-efficacy plays an intermediary role between motivation and job performance.Fifth,The relationship between intrinsic motivation and job performance was regulated by employee psychology under epidemic situation.According to the analysis results,the end of passage starts from skill training,performance designing and the construction of enterprise culture strengthening to offer relative suggestions to improve performance.It is also hoped that these will be a certain reference value to the automobile maintenance industry. |
