Research On The Impact Of Industrial Structure Upgrading On The Income Gap Between Urban And Rural Areas Based On The Perspective Of Employment Structure

In recent years,China’s economy has maintained high-quality growth,but at the same time of rapid economic development,it is also faced with problems such as unbalanced urban and rural economic development and widening urban-rural income gap.How to solve the problem of excessive urban-rural income gap is of great significance.Industrial structure upgrading and employment structure adjustment restrict the development of urban-rural income gap.Therefore,the study of industrial structure upgrading and employment structure adjustment is of fundamental significance to solve the problem of urban-rural income imbalance.Firstly,this paper expounds the relationship between industrial structure upgrading,employment structure and urban-rural income gap from the theoretical level,and constructs a mathematical model for derivation,and then empirically studies how industrial structure upgrading affects urban-rural income gap through employment structure through intermediary effect test and threshold effect analysis.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:From the results of the intermediary effect analysis,it can be seen that in the process of the overall upgrading of the industrial structure,the rationalization and upgrading of the industrial structure have different effects on the income gap between urban and rural residents,that is,with the deepening of the rationalization of the industrial structure,the income gap between urban and rural residents is gradually narrowed,and the upgrading of the industrial structure is the opposite.In the process of internal upgrading of industrial structure,the upgrading of internal structure of manufacturing industry and service industry will narrow the income gap between small urban and rural areas,and the indicators of skilled employment structure and industrial employment structure play an intermediary role.From the result of threshold effect,at the national level,before the adjustment speed of employment structure crosses the second threshold,the rationalization of industrial structure will promote the narrowing of urban-rural income gap,while the upgrading of industrial structure will expand the urban-rural income gap on the contrary;When the second threshold is crossed,the impact of the rationalization of industrial structure becomes insignificant,and the upgrading of industrial structure begins to narrow the income gap between urban and rural areas.At the regional level,the threshold effect of the eastern and western regions shows an inverted "U" shape;In the central region,the rationalization model is double threshold effect,while the advanced model is single threshold effect.Both rationalization models and structured models in Northeast China only have a single threshold effect,and the impact of industrial structure rationalization on urban-rural income gap is still on the left side of the inverted "U" curve.Combined with the empirical research results,this paper puts forward policy suggestions to narrow the urban-rural income gap from three directions: Solidly Promoting the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure,steadily accelerating the adjustment and optimization of employment structure,and effectively promoting the coordinated development of employment structure and industrial structure.
