Research On The Elderly Care Issues Of Left-behind Elderly People In Rural Areas From The Perspective Of Needs Hierarchy Theor

With the acceleration of industrialization and urbanization,great changes have taken place in the economic structure,ideology and lifestyle in rural areas.At the same time,due to the implementation of the family planning policy,the long-term low birth rate leads to the gradual reduction of the family size,and the left-behind families begin to appear in rural areas and show a gradually increasing trend.Compared with the urban left-behind elderly,the rural left-behind elderly are in a more disadvantageous position.They have no stable source of income,lack of child care,coupled with the rural pension and health care facilities are not perfect,making the majority of the left-behind elderly pension situation is worrying.The pension problem of the rural left-behind elderly has become a major problem that the whole society must face.In this context,Sixian County,Anhui Province was selected as the survey site,and the literature review and questionnaire method.On this basis,the pension needs of the rural left-behind elderly in Sixian County were investigated from the perspective of demand,and the samples were described from the basic personal situation,economic situation,living situation,medical situation and mental situation.Then it is proposed that the problems of the rural left-behind elderly in Sixian county include the lack of pension funds for the left-behind elderly,the lack of living care for the rural left-behind elderly,the poor rural medical and health level,and the lack of spiritual comfort for the rural left-behind elderly.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the pension service of the rural left-behind elderly in Sixian County,including improving the income of the rural left-behind elderly,improving the life care channels for the rural left-behind elderly,improving the level of rural medical services,and enriching the spiritual life of the rural left-behind elderly.
