Coordinated development is an intrinsic requirement for sustainable and healthy development, and China has been upholding this development requirement and integrating the concept of coordinated development into the development of the entire economy and society. In the context of building a modern economy, promoting the process of new urbanization and upgrading industrial structure, developing digital inclusive finance and thus giving full play to the universality of financial services has become one of the current development goals.According to existing research, there is a causal relationship between digital inclusive finance and new urbanization, new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading, and there is also a theoretical relationship between the three. Therefore,a good coordination relationship between the three helps the common development of the three and generates positive influence,on the contrary,an uncoordinated development relationship is not only detrimental to the development of each of the three, but also detrimental to the overall development and restricts the healthy development of regional economy. Therefore,it is important to understand the changing characteristics of the coordinated development among the three and explore the factors affecting the coordinated development of the three. From the perspective of system view, this paper establishes a three-system coupling coordination model of digital inclusive finance, new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading, analyzes the spatial and temporal evolution of the relationship between the three from the perspective of synergistic development, and puts forward policy recommendations based on the conclusions drawn.Firstly,by constructing comprehensive indicators of digital inclusive finance, new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading, and briefly analyzing the development of the three.Secondly, the coupling coordination degree of the three is measured by using the coupling coordination degree model, and its changes are analyzed in time and space, and it is found that there are temporal as well as spatial differences in the coupling coordination degree of the three between regions, and the factors affecting the coupling coordination degree of the three are further explored by using the spatial econometric model. The following conclusions can be obtained from the research of this paper:(1)From 2011-2020,the development trend of digital inclusive finance, new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading in China is on the rise overall, but there are still obvious differences among regions, specifically the highest development level in the eastern region, followed by the central and western regions, and there are large spatial differences.(2)In 2011,the coupling coordination degree of the three provinces was still in a moderate imbalance and on the verge of imbalance, and the number of provinces in imbalance has been decreasing every year since then, and by 2020,the coupling coordination degree of the three provinces has reached primary coordination, which indicates that the mutual coordination of digital inclusive finance, new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading in China is increasing year by year and there is room for improvement.(3)The spatial autocorrelation results using the Moran index show that there is a significant positive spatial correlation among the coupling coordination degree of digital inclusive finance, new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading, which shows high-high and low-low clustering.Using the spatial Durbin model to regress the factors that may have an impact on them,it is found that local financial input, the level of openness to the outside world, the level of innovation, the level of Internet use,and the degree of service industry agglomeration all have a positive effect on the coupling coordination degree of the region, and on the contrary, the income gap has a negative effect on the coupling coordination degree of the region. At the same time, the local financial investment, the level of openness to the outside world and the degree of service industry agglomeration in this region also have positive spillover effects on the coupling coordination degree of the neighboring regions. In view of the above findings,in order to better promote the coordinated development among digital inclusive finance, new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading, this paper puts forward the following suggestions:(1)Increase the level of Internet construction to improve the coverage of digital inclusive finance.(2)Improve the level of opening to the outside world and actively encourage foreign investment in China.(3)Improve the level of innovation and promote technological development.(4)Raise the income of rural residents and reduce the income gap.(5)Give full play to the government’s role in promoting digital inclusive finance, new urbanization and industrial structure upgrading.
