As a common management method in modern enterprises,equity incentive plays a great role in stabilizing core personnel,reducing moral hazard and enhancing core competitiveness of enterprises.In recent years,with the continuous development of social economy and the continuous improvement of policies,the trend of consumption upgrading is becoming more and more obvious.Sweeping robots are increasingly favored by contemporary young people and gradually become the standard equipment of intelligent homes.With the continuous development of the sweeping robot market,the upgrading speed of various types of products is accelerating,the homogenization of low-end products is becoming more serious,and the demand of consumers for high-performance and high-level products is increasing.Therefore,it is particularly important to implement equity incentive under the dual influence of consumption upgrading and rapid industry development.Beijing Stone Technology Co.,Ltd.is a leading enterprise in the robot cleaning industry.Initially,as a member of the Xiaomi ecological chain,Stone Technology has obtained rapid development opportunities.In recent years,Stone Technology has tried to get rid of the identity of "Xiaomi OEM",vigorously develop its own brand,constantly expand overseas markets and expand overseas market share.Under the background of strategic transformation of de-millet and international development,Stone Science and Technology implemented equity incentive for the first time in 2020.This paper takes Stone Science and Technology as a case company to sort out its strategic transformation and implementation process of equity incentive in detail,and makes an in-depth exploration of the motivation for Stone Science and Technology to implement equity incentive.Secondly,this paper uses the event study method to combine financial and non-financial indicators to study the implementation effect of equity incentive.Finally,it summarizes the experience and deficiency of Stone Technology in implementing equity incentive,and puts forward feasible suggestions.By studying the motivation and economic consequences of the equity incentive plan of Stone Technology,this paper draws the following conclusions:(1)In terms of market response,the implementation of equity incentive has a significant effect on improving the market value of the company;(2)In terms of financial performance,the financial performance brought by equity incentive of Stone Technology has been improved on the whole,but in the long run,the enhancement effect is weakening continuously.In addition,the performance of independent brand products and overseas markets has increased significantly;(3)In terms of innovation performance,the equity incentive implemented by Stone Technology has significantly improved the enterprise’s innovation and research and development ability,strengthened the development of its own brand,and greatly improved the overall quality of its employees.Finally,on the whole,the implementation of equity incentive in Stone Technology effectively promoted the strategic transformation of de-milification and internationalization,but there were still problems such as not flexible setting of performance indicators and loose exercise conditions.Therefore,this paper studies the equity incentive motivation and implementation effect of Stone Technology under the background of strategic transformation,in order to provide reference for the subsequent implementation of equity incentive enterprises.
