| Mega construction projects play an important role in the sustainable development of society, and their construction scale and number maintain a continuous growth trend.Due to the impact of natural disasters, pandemic diseases and social public events, mega construction projects are facing more and more internal and external challenges, resulting in stoppages, delays and capital waste, which greatly reduce their economic and social benefits. As an important ability of project organizations to cope with and adapt to uncertainties and emergencies, organizational resilience can not only withstand adverse events and return to a stable state in the shortest time, but also enable organizations to maintain long-term competitive advantages. Therefore,in a complex and changeable dynamic environment, the characteristics of mega construction projects need to be considered to improve the organizational resilience of mega construction projects. However, the limited research on organizational resilience in the field of project management ignores the complexity of mega construction projects and the role of stakeholder correlation,as well as the dynamics of organizational resilience. Therefore, from a dynamic perspective, this thesis comprehensively considers the impact of project governance and the quality of cooperation between participants, explores the governance mechanism of organizational resilience of mega construction projects before and after the crisis, and provides a basis for improving organizational resilience at different stages and fills the gaps in existing research. In this study, two governance modes are selected based on transaction cost theory, institutional theory, relational contract theory and social exchange theory, cooperation quality is selected as the mediating variable based on stakeholder theory and resource dependence theory, and organizational resilience is divided into proactive organizational resilience and reactive organizational resilience based on dynamic capability theory,so as to construct a dynamic governance mechanism model of organizational resilience of mega construction projects.Subsequently, the questionnaires of contract governance, relationship governance, cooperation quality, proactive organizational resilience and reactive organizational resilience were collected through questionnaire surveys, and the constructed theoretical model was tested by the partial least squares structure equation method. The results show that contract governance has a significant positive effect on reactive organizational resilience, relationship governance has a significant positive effect on proactive organizational resilience, and cooperation quality promotes proactive organizational resilience and reactive organizational resilience.Contract governance and relationship governance promote the quality of inter-organizational cooperation; The quality of cooperation completely mediates the relationship between contract governance and proactive organizational resilience, partly mediates the relationship between contract governance and reactive organizational resilience, and partially mediates the relationship between relationship governance and proactive organizational resilience. Finally, based on the analysis results of structural equation model, combined with the system boundary set by relevant experts, this study uses system dynamics to dynamically simulate the organizational toughness and its factors of mega construction projects, and analyzes the change trend of the obtained variables. This study explores the dynamic governance mechanisms for enhancing the organizational resilience of mega construction projects, strengthening the connection between project governance research and organizational resilience research.Taking a dynamic perspective, new insights are provided for enhancing the proactive organizational resilience and reactive organizational resilience of mega construction projects at different stages of crises. |
