In Chinese rapidly developing economy, megaprojects occupy an important position as the engine to promote economic development. However, relevant research have found that the existing megaprojects have a low success rate.Phenomenon such as cost overruns, delay, poor quality and under revenue are common in megaprojects, and these phenomena have not been properly resolved with the development of technology, which has seriously affected the economic benefits and society benefit of megaprojects.Megaproject success has an important relationship with project management efficiency.Project organization,as the core of megaproject management,is the key to achieving the goals of project investment, quality, safety and environment.Organizational resilience,as an important ability of project organization to cope with and adapt to external changes during project implementation, can ensure that the organization can quickly and orderly return to normal operation in the shortest time when it is impacted by the outside environment. Therefore, improving organizational resilience is the key to improving the megaprojects management. However, there is insufficient research on organizational resilience in the field of histology.Especially in the research of organizational resilience in megaprojects, there is a lack of a clear theoretical framework and empirical research. Therefore, this article focuses on analyzing the megaproject organizational resilience and exploring the effect of organizational resilience on megaproject success to supplement the research gaps.First, based on conservation of resource theory and social capital theory, this article selected organizational leadership, organizational commitment, organizational culture, organizational learning, trust, reciprocity, shared vision, and relationship quality as the driving factors from the perspective of organizational resource protection and social capital of participants. Then,a research model of the megaproject organizational resilience driving factors and the effect on project success is constructed. After that, this study collected data on organizational resilience, related driving factors and project success in the form of questionnaires, and tested the model by partial least squares structure model(PLS-SEM).The research results show that the organizational resilience can significantly improve project success. As for the drivers of organizational resilience, protective resources such as organizational leadership, commitment, culture, and learning have significant positive effect on organizational resilience.Organizational learning also has a mediating effect on the relationship between organizational commitment, culture, and organizational resilience, but there is no mediating effect on the relationship between organizational leadership and organizational resilience.Social capital such as trust, reciprocity, shared vision and relationship quality among participants can positively affect the organizational resilience, and relationship quality has significant mediating effects on the relationship between trust, reciprocity and shared vision and organizational resilience.Afterwards, based on the research data of structural equations, this article uses system dynamics to simulate the organizational resilience and its driving factors of megaprojects to obtain their trends. The article provide a new insight into the megaproject governance and organizational resilience, and also provide theoretical and practical guidance for megaprojects success.
