| In recent years,China’s digital economy has developed vigorously,and the application of digital technology has become a "new engine" to drive the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.In the past,with its huge local advantages,namely demographic dividend and resource endowment,China has become the world’s largest manufacturing country.However,with the changes in the development environment at home and abroad and China’s guidelines and policies,the way of relying solely on population and resources to drive economic growth in the past is obviously out of date,and promoting the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing has become a development need.In the report of the 20 th National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping not only pointed out the need to promote the high-end,intelligent and green development of the manufacturing industry,but also emphasized the need to promote the integrated development of the digital economy and the real economy.Therefore,in the context of the digital economy era,it is of great significance to explore the impact of the digital economy on manufacturing enterprises to achieve high-quality economic development in China.At the theoretical level,the mechanism of the whole industry and full production rate of the digital economy film operation is analyzed theoretically and hypothesised.Cities with a high level of prosperity in the digital economy have gathered more,that is,information,talents and funds,the cultivation of cities,various key advantages and achievements,and expected performance,etc.to create new capabilities,financing costs and management efficiency,and then reputation and magnificent achievements of careers.In terms of empirical evidence,the construction of a comprehensive index system to evaluate the city’s digital economic level,and the use LP method to estimate the total factor yield of listed companies.Our digital economy develops with a rising trend,so does the total factor productivity of Chinese manufacturing enterprises,and there is a significant regional difference in our digital economy development.The conclusions are as follows:(1)urban digital economy has a significant promoting effect on the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises.(2)Urban digital economy can improve the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises by improving their technological innovation ability,reducing their financing costs and improving their management efficiency.(3)Regional heterogeneity.Urban digital economy has the greatest impact on the total factor productivity of manufacturing enterprises in the western region,followed by the central region and the eastern region.(4)Property right heterogeneity.Urban digital economy has a significant impact on the total factor productivity of state-owned manufacturing enterprises,but not on non-state-owned manufacturing enterprises.(5)Scale heterogeneity.Urban digital economy has a significant impact on large-scale manufacturing enterprises,but not on small-scale manufacturing enterprises.(6)Industry heterogeneity.The impact on competitive industries is greater than that on monopolistic industries.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper proposes countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the development of urban digital economy and improving the production efficiency of manufacturing enterprises. |
