Research On The Influencing Factors Of China’s Direct Investment In Tajikistan

In order to achieve the goal of smoothly developing the domestic economy,the Tajik government and enterprises have been trying to use external direct investment to promote the development of key industries and livelihood industries in Tajikistan.With the promotion of China’s "the Belt and Road" initiative,funds from China also provide capital support for Tajikistan’s development.However,it is obvious that the industrial structure of the investment industry is unitary and the industrial distribution is uneven.Investment from China is mainly concentrated in the natural resources industry and infrastructure construction industry of Tajikistan,while other light industry industries have not been able to develop in Tajikistan.In the short term,relying on the pulling effect of investment will significantly improve the economy of Tajikistan,but it will also make it difficult to achieve balanced industrial development in Tajikistan.Therefore,when using and attracting direct investment from China,Tajikistan should develop its own coping strategies while offering a positive cooperation and welcoming attitude.Tajikistan has begun to actively adjust and optimize the structure of direct investment.The investment policies for the two countries not only give preferential treatment to the mineral industry,but also emphasize the key coping strategies for the synchronous and coordinated development of other industries.
