Poverty is a persistent disease of human society. Therefore, poverty eradication has always been a major issue in the governance of the country and the security of the state,as well as a major practical and theoretical topic for the development of the times. With the victory of the battle against poverty and the continuous deepening of rural revitalization,China has also achieved unprecedented great results in various aspects such as financial development and poverty alleviation. However,in the process of rapid economic development, the drawbacks brought about by this rapid development are gradually exposed. For example, the large gap between rich and poor in regions, the uneven distribution of educational resources, the difficulty of poverty alleviation among the poor, and even the emergence of poverty return, have seriously constrained the in-depth development of China’s economy and society. As pointed out in the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,it is necessary to promote poverty alleviation to a higher level, mobilize resources from the entire society, and take a holistic approach and new concepts to organically integrate poverty alleviation and aspiration support. The emergence of digital inclusive finance has provided a new approach to solving the poverty problem in China and become an important support force for poverty eradication.Using big data financial technology,it has greatly improved the efficiency and quality of poverty alleviation work.In order to further explore the role of digital inclusive finance in poverty reduction and provide theoretical basis and data support for the smooth progress of poverty reduction in the future, this topic will further explore the mechanism of inclusive finance in poverty reduction in China from both theoretical and empirical levels. In terms of theoretical research, this article further explores and analyzes the mechanism of inclusive finance in poverty reduction based on existing theories. This article selects panel data from 31 provincial administrative regions across the country from 2011 to 2020 for empirical research. It uses per capita consumption expenditure as a proxy indicator to measure poverty alleviation, sets this indicator as an explanatory variable, measures the development of digital inclusive finance using the Digital Inclusive Finance Index of Peking University, and uses it as an explanatory variable to construct a spatial econometric model from a spatial perspective,Explore the spatial spillover effect of digital inclusive financial development on poverty reduction, and then further select two intermediary variables,e-commerce development and human capital,to test its mechanism. The research results show that the development of digital inclusive finance contributes to poverty reduction, and digital inclusive finance has a positive spatial spillover effect on the reduction of poverty in neighboring provinces. It can promote rural poverty reduction by promoting the level of e-commerce development,or by promoting rural human capital.Based on the above analysis, this article proposes a series of relevant policy measures:First, promote the application of inclusive finance in rural e-commerce,and accelerate the improvement of the digital inclusive financial regulatory system and effectively protect consumer rights.Secondly,it is necessary to introduce measures and promote the organic integration of digital inclusive financial services and national government poverty alleviation policies,so as to achieve the coordinated development of financial poverty alleviation and financial poverty alleviation. Finally,it can promote interregional exchanges, build industrial demonstration parks, and encourage the organic integration of digital inclusive finance with the real economy and platform economy.
