| In the face of major changes unseen in a century,the Outline of the 14 th FiveYear Plan proposes to "accelerate digital development and build a digital China",profoundly clarifying the key role of accelerating digital transformation and development to seize the opportunities of the digital era and build a digital China.As the foundation of the country,the digital transformation of manufacturing is the main direction of promoting the development of the national economy and the construction of a manufacturing power.Specifically,enterprise digital technology breaks the constraints of physical factors on economic development in time and space,strengthens the resilience of enterprises to predict and adapt to sudden crises,and becomes an important means for enterprises to obtain core competitiveness and improve enterprise performance.In addition,affected by international political economy and other factors,external "black swan" and "gray rhino" events have become a "normal" that enterprises need to face.While traditional companies become unable to adapt to dynamic environments,digitally capable companies can demonstrate greater organizational resilience and provide competitive advantage in dynamic environments to improve business performance.Based on this,the topic of digital transformation has become a hot topic for academics and industry stakeholders.How enterprises can carry out digital transformation,build digital capabilities,improve their organizational resilience and enterprise performance,and respond quickly in a dynamic environment has become a difficult problem that enterprise managers have to think about.Based on dynamic capability theory,this paper aims to explore the influence mechanism of digital capability on firm performance and the mediating role of organizational resilience in the relationship between the two.In addition,this paper also explores the moderating role of environmental dynamics in the relationship between digital capability and organizational resilience.In order to verify the above research framework,this paper takes the middle and senior managers of 314 manufacturing enterprises as a research sample,combined with questionnaire survey and empirical analysis,and concludes the following research conclusions:(1)digital capabilities can positively promote enterprise performance;(2)Digital capability can improve organizational resilience,and organizational resilience can also positively promote enterprise performance,and organizational resilience plays a part-mediating role between digital capability and enterprise performance;(3)the relationship between environmental dynamics positively regulating digital capability and organizational resilience;(4)The mediating role of organizational resilience is regulated by environmental dynamics,and the higher the degree of environmental dynamics,the higher the mediating role of organizational resilience,and vice versa.The above results verify the mechanism of "digital capability-organizational resilience-enterprise performance",theoretically enrich the relevant research of dynamic capability theory,point out the important impact mechanism of digital capability on enterprise performance through organizational resilience,and further enrich the cause and effect research of organizational resilience.At the same time,the above research conclusions also provide feasible strategies for enterprise managers to survive and develop in crisis situations,and improve organizational resilience through digital capabilities,so that enterprises can effectively respond to crises and develop smoothly in a dynamic environment,so as to achieve high enterprise performance. |
