Research On The Impact Of Digital Transformation Of The Whole Industrial Chain On Enterprise Performance

According to The 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,high-quality development is our top priority,and the digital economy is the core driving force for high-quality development.Under the circumstance that the country vigorously promotes the realization of digital economy,it has become the general trend for each enterprise to accelerate the digital transformation.Although in the current economic society,the road of digital transformation of dairy products started late,but the efficiency and results of the road of digital transformation of dairy enterprises are more outstanding.Dairy companies are speeding up digital reform,starting with Mengniu Dairy,Yili Dairy and Guangming Dairy,and subsequent companies are also gradually making digital layout.Dairy industry spans the upper,middle and lower reaches,with a long industrial chain and complex links.How to achieve high-quality link management through technical means and digital templates is an inevitable choice for dairy enterprises to seize the opportunity of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial reform.For dairy enterprises,the current industry competition has been basically homogenized.In order to ensure the original market share and gradually expand it in the new era,the digital industry chain is the top priority.Therefore,in order to explore how dairy enterprises cope with the tide of digital economy,combine their own business characteristics to carry out targeted digital transformation,and what specific impact the transformation will bring to enterprise performance,this paper decides to introduce Mengniu Group,which has outstanding performance in digital transformation of the whole industrial chain,as the research object.The content of this paper is mainly divided into the following five parts: First,the relevant literature at home and abroad is reviewed,focusing on the digital economy,digital transformation,enterprise performance and other aspects of the research;Then the concepts of digital transformation,enterprise performance and the whole industrial chain are defined.Finally,the basic theory is discussed.Secondly,the paper briefly introduces the current digital status of dairy industry,and focuses on the analysis of Mengniu Dairy industry digital transformation motivation and path.Mengniu in the industrial chain link through the “double Zhongtai”link,so that all processes visible and easy to manage.Then,from two aspects of financial and non-financial indicators,the paper analyzes the impact of Mengniu Dairy’s digital transformation on corporate performance.Finally,the paper draws the following conclusions: First,through the integration of resources,Mengniu has achieved a more significant effect in the digital construction,which significantly improves the profitability and operation capacity of the enterprise and links the original scattered milk source sites together through the digital platform.Second,the digital transformation of Mengniu Dairy industry chain has greatly influenced its management mode,organizational structure,production process and downstream sales.From the original scattered distribution of milk sources,low efficiency and waste of intermediate processing links,multi-layer distributor mode,etc.,it has become the current unified and guaranteed milk source quality,intelligent processing of intermediate links,and point-to-point single-layer distributor mode.Thirdly,through the comparative analysis of Mengniu Dairy,Guangming Dairy and dairy industry,it is believed that the synergistic effect and resource integration of the whole industrial chain brought by digital transformation is an important reason for enterprises to improve their profitability,operation and development capabilities.
