A Study On The Radiation Effect And Influencing Factors Of Tourism In Central Cities Of The Yellow River Basin

As the growth pole of regional economic development,central cities play an important role in reducing the level of development between regions and promoting coordinated regional development by their radiation.The Yellow River Basin is a major area for population gathering and economic growth in China,and a key area for promoting the coordinated development of the country’s regions,with an important position in China’s socio-economic development and ecological security.However,in recent years,the development of tourism in the Yellow River Basin has faced such outstanding problems as serious ecological pollution,deformed industrial structure and unbalanced regional development.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the tourism radiation effect of central cities in the Yellow River Basin and analyze the influencing factors of tourism radiation effect to promote the coordinated development of regional tourism in the Yellow River Basin.Based on the theories related to central cities and radiation effect,this paper defines the concepts of central cities and tourism radiation effect on the basis of relevant researches,constructs an index system to evaluate the comprehensive tourism strength of central cities;adopts crack point model,Wilson model and field strength model to measure the tourism radiation range,tourism radiation radius and tourism radiation strength and effect of central cities respectively;uses GIS technology to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of the tourism radiation range and tourism radiation intensity of central cities;the obstacle degree model is used to analyze the obstacle factors affecting the comprehensive tourism strength of central cities;the empirical study is carried out with five major central cities in the Yellow River Basin as an example,and the conclusions are as follows:(1)Under the breakpoint model,the tourism radiation range of each central city can cover most cities in the region,but the breakpoint distance from the surrounding cities varies significantly,and the cities with stronger comprehensive tourism strength on the same orientation line have a relatively larger tourism radiation range;(2)Wilson model measures that the tourism radiation of each central city can cover most of the fracture points in the region,and there is a difference between the tourism radiation radius and the distance of the farthest fracture point;(3)The tourism radiation field strength of each central city to the surrounding cities shows an obvious negative correlation with the distance,while the surrounding cities accept the tourism radiation effect of the central cities not only with the distance,but also with their own tourism comprehensive strength;(4)In 2011-2017,the main obstacle factors at the guideline level affecting the comprehensive strength of tourism in each central city were the economic,infrastructure and social environment,in 2018-2019 the ecological environment,and in 2020 the level of tourism development.Based on the above research conclusions,this article proposes countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the tourism radiation effect of central cities in the Yellow River Basin from five aspects in combination with reality.
