With the deepening of international economic integration,the banking industry has paid more and more attention to financial innovation and has made outstanding achievements by taking advantage of the development opportunities of economic globalization.However,in the development of international economic integration,the global economic situation is becoming more and more complex,leading to the increasing risks in the banking industry.For example,the traders of the Bank of Bahrain Singapore Branch made mistakes in the trading process,which led to the collapse of the Bank of Bahrain with a hundred years of history.The root cause of this event is that there are serious defects in the internal control of the Bank of Bahrain.Since the 21st century,commercial banks have created more and more financial derivatives,and the financial risks faced by the banking industry are more diffuse.The US subprime crisis in 2008 was triggered by the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers.The crisis eventually turned into a global financial tsunami,and a large number of US commercial banks were forced to close down and were acquired one after another.In recent years,China’s rapid economic development has promoted the development,innovation and rapid expansion of commercial banks.Both in terms of quantity and scale,commercial banks have witnessed remarkable growth.With the rapid development of the banking industry,many unsafe factors have also been deposited,such as bank-related economic cases,such as the bankruptcy of Baoshang Bank and the off-the-book gold absorption of rural banks,which have caused more and more financial risks.These cases not only threaten the local financial stability,but also cause huge losses to the banks and cause reputational risks.These cases are all caused by the internal control loopholes of commercial banks.To study the internal management mechanism of commercial banks in depth can have a positive effect on the internal control of commercial banks,especially for commercial banks with relatively stable development,which is an urgent problem to be solved at present.Banks are involved in production,circulation,distribution and consumption,and play a decisive role in the socialist market economy.The frequent occurrence of financial cases due to the failure of bank internal control has greatly threatened the economic development and social stability.Although in recent years,the banking industry has achieved rapid development,and the internal management mechanisms of major banks have been established,the actual implementation is far from the expected results.Therefore,optimizing and improving the internal management mechanism is the top priority in the current development of banks.In this study,the author selected S Branch of Central Plains Bank as the research subject,and further analyzed the current situation of its internal management and its deficiencies by using case analysis,on-site investigation and other methods,taking the five key points of internal control as the starting point.Based on the problem,we will analyze the Bank of Central China Branch S in depth from the aspects of corporate governance structure,institutional setting,power and responsibility allocation,internal review,human resources,and formulate targeted strategies from these aspects.Build and improve its risk management structure and risk management evaluation system,and put forward optimization design plans from five aspects,namely,internal environment,risk evaluation,activity control,information communication,and internal supervision;Strengthen the support of information technology and combine it to optimize and improve the internal communication system,realize the online internal control and fully cover the internal business:integrate the internal and external,especially the internal control department must be independent,improve the comprehensive quality of auditors,and continuously strengthen the internal control system,The author also hopes to provide direction and reference for the follow-up research of the same type through this study.
